Excellent episode.
The Sorpanos theme really made the town of Springfield look "edgey".
The best part was the episode came all of a sudden, so I didn't know anything about it, so I really saw it for the first time.
This was the real season finale.
1/5 "The Frying Game" was the season finale!
2/5 "M-E-H. Meh."
3/5 - It was good. But not GREAT.
4/5 Very Good!
5/5 A MUCH better finale than "The Frying Game"!

Voted for 3/5, but come on, it's 4/5. If I were to see it again, it would be 5/5. Great episode!

Ms. Krabappel: I believe that with persistent discipline, even the poorest student can end up becoming, oh, say, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
Homer: Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. What great men he would join. John Marshall, Charles Evans Hughes, Warren Burgher... Mmmmmmm... Burgher...

I clicked on 4/5 but this is a 5/5(9.5/10) episode. In fact, it is the first of the season that I gave above a 9(5/5)(She of Little Faith, but there were many 3/5's and 4/5's). I loved the Sopranos theme as I'm a huge fan. The ending got me; for some reason I was sure it was Flanders because it would have been good irony since Homer shunned him at the meeting inside the church, but I should of known better: a) The show rarely uses ironic twists that big(*exception WSMBII) and b) Flanders couldn't shoot anyone, though if he did, it would have been executed with the same erratic aim. The ep did borrow from many previous ones(Homer the Vigilante being #1), but that didn't necessarily make it a bad thing, in fact, it was quite the contrary. Do you want something done fast or do you want it done right? I rate it best ep of the season and a great season finale, certainly better than Frying Game. All in all, Season 13 was a major step in the right direction. Way to go Al for turning this aging series around as it now heads in the direction of its prime.
I can't believe I ate the whole thing

So funny I forgot to laugh...or breathe.

I agree. It kind of annoys me how people on the forum are always looking at pre-air framegrabs, and looking at reviews of the episodes and knowing the main details before they watch it. I think it is better to just watch it with no pre-air stuff.

I loved the inflated sense of self-importance when I was 'in the know' about Little Girl in the Big Ten, but yeah, I guess the eps are better unspoiled.

5/5 Best episode in years. Just too many classic moments.
I agree. I felt so important having seen Little Girl in the Big Ten and The Frying Game and providing information for others. But, I never look at actualy framegrabs or reviews before I view the episode. It really takes away from the fun. I'm glad that I didn't see a framegrab of Maggie with a gun or anything or else that whole suprising scene would have been ruined for me.Originally posted by PsycheEnFuego

This season turned out much better than expected. Possibly the best episode of the season.

This one along with "She of little faith" is the best episode of the season. 5/5

Alright! Another She of Little Faith fan in the house! That ep is probably one of the most underrated of the year.

I liked She of Little Faith, but it was nowhere near the level of this episode, Half-Decent Proposal, or Little Girl in the big ten.

Half-Decent Proposal was good, but it got a bit weird at the end. Little Girl in the Big Ten is the best of the season, imho, hands down.
Half-Decent Proposal could have been the best episode in years, but the oil rigging towards the end was too far fetched for my liking. I still consider it to be the third best of the season. Poppa's Got a Brand New Badge and Little Girl in the Big Ten are neck and neck for the top spot on my list -- Poppa's the number one as of now, but I like them both so much it's hard to judge. I still think that Weekend at Burnsies is a very underated episode -- it's #4 on my list -- right ahead of I am Furious (Yellow).

Yeah, I need a lot more grabs from good scenes. The grabs Jim posted in the other thread don't have any I want to use. I'm pretty much finished the page, except for the grabs, so if anyone can help me out, here are some scenes I would love grabs from:
- Homer, Lenny, and Carl having just burst into the Legit Business Man's social club, pointing their guns.
- The family sitting on the roof, watching the looting.
- A shot of Fat Tony in the car during the Sopranos parody
- Any shot of the town looting that clearly shows lots of people creating havoc.
- Homer giving a speech at the church
- Homer, Lenny, and Carl holding back the monster while the old lady punches it (from Homer's commercial)
Signature.
I thought this episode was brilliant; the plot didn't get too out of hand, some hilarious jokes as well.(particulary the part when Homer gets Ned's things back and the Johnny Tight-Lips sequence.) The ending really surprised me, the writers set that one up well, and altogether a great episode, probably one of my very favourites. 5/5.

Thanks Matty. That's the new background on my computer.Originally posted by Matty

Another thing- Is the Biography Brandine? She had another speaking part in this one.
Well, I suggested Johnny Tightlips for bio, because I think he played a somewhat larger role.

It's funny, I had very little room for grabs on the page this time because there were so many lines I wanted to put in!

Isn't this the longest period of time a Season 13 guide has been put up? Usually it's like eight minutes after it airs.![]()

Anywayz, we still need a butload of old Roswell characters (Ms. Hoover, Brandine, Luanne...), Lets hope they have speaking lines soon!
Here it is! Be sure to let me know when youfind typos, cuz I'm sure they're hiding there.

Note to the culturally inept:
Johnny Tightlips looked exactly like real life Joe Montegna, voice of Fat Tony.
