not trying to be a jerk, but can we stop speculating about s15? i mean, we don't even have s14 yet. and when we get s14, chances are there's going to be a long wait till s15 comes, at which point a thread will be made to talk about it.

And in that thread we'll speculate Season 16...but fine I do agree Percy. Although again, Jon Lovitz' commentary appearances give me hope that we just might get Season 15 earlier then August of next year.

Ya, the sets' menus all seem to have really nice set ups and are always enjoyable to see and very easy to navigate. Much better than seasons 1-4 menus which took way too long to actually get to the episodes. Hopefully they never try changing the menu styles.

Considering its Kang and Kodos I literally have a tough time trying to predict the menus at all for this one.

Well if it's a spaceship theme I could see characters in line for some sort of "probing" machine with Kang/Kodos there kinda forcing them onto it. If it's a Halloween theme then it's easy to imagine people in line for trick or treating and stuff like that.

If I remember, the menu of the DVD Season 3 is really bad because there's always a little animation when we select an episode or even if we want to change the language. :/

Theory about the box art-

When Fox sells DVDs, they want to sell as much as they can. To do that, they would have to package the DVD in the most broadly appealing way. If the marketing department picked the characters it was probably because those are the minor characters that are the most recognizable/have the most appeal to people who have only a casual interest in the Simpsons.

Edit: Makes sense "JubJub17" the more appealing a DVD cover is the more money it will produce.

The cover is cool, I love the people on the commentary tracks, the other extras are shaping up to be very interesting, and the season as a whole has mostly solid episodes. My thought? Bring on late August!
