A french site you don't know make not it a site with bad information. The Simpsons Park is as reliable as The Simpsons Channel or this site (before it turns into a general site). If you don't trust me I can understand because I'm the webmaster of it and the author of this news but I can guarantee you we have a lot of good contacts and we never give a wrong information since the site creation 11 years ago.

I'm tired of people who is waiting information for months and when they have one don't trust it even if the source sounds good. If you never trust anybody, don't be surprised if you never have interesting information. That's what happens on the Season 22 information thead, when some guy sent infos about future episodes, people don't trust him such that he never post again and now we have the confirmation that his infos was real.

PS : And it's not an april fool, it was sent on April 2th, if we except time zones

I wasn't saying that I didn't believe it. I was just wondering if the site was credible since I've never heard of it before. However after reading what you said I definately believe that Kang and Kodos will be on the cover and I'm looking forward to seeing what it will look like.

kang and kodos with a space theme perhaps? with other characters dressed up as famous aliens, or just fake aliens or something? just throwing ideas out there, obviously.

every 5 seasons the theme changes- 1-5 it was couch gags, 6-10 it was homer, marge, lisa, maggie, bart, 11-15, it seems we're getting secondary characters. i wonder if they'll change after season 15. it's been suggested (don't know if it has here or not), but locations, like the school, police department, SNPP... might be interesting. that is, if they do change the theme

I don't get why they'd go for Kang and Kodos when there are so many well known popular characters that have yet to appear on a cover. Also, how reliable is that source?

Also, we all know they're doing a blu-ray version again and we all know the blu-ray case will be shit compared to the DVD version (in terms of booklet and original art).

Kang and Kodos.... hmmm, I was wishing for Flanders Apu, Moe or Burns. But I'm certain they'll appear in 15-20+. If true, a Kang and Kodos COULD lead to an awesome halloween theme, which I always thought would make for a great design. I'd also love to see a few special features devoted to the THOH series and the best moments of Kang and Kodos. Hell, maybe toss on their deleted scene from the Simpsons Movie?

the art I understand, and the way they handled the booklet for S20, but the S13 blu-ray had pretty much the exact same booklet as the DVD.

don't the blu ray versions have less art as compared to the DVDs? one of the reasons i like the DVDs a lot is because of how cool the artwork(IMO) is, especially with seasons 5+.

Yes, the blu-ray comes in the normal blue plastic case, just with a slipcover over the top with the same front and back cover as the DVD. It doesn't get a fold-out box storing the discs.

Hmm... you know what? I think that having Kang and Kodos as the cover is rather interesting. If done right, it could really stand out amongst other DVDs on the shop shelf. I wonder what colour the background will be? I think black (and the usual white-glowing stripes for the standard cover) might be nice.

Same menu animations with the characters in an arcade (except being 3 discs it meant one of the animations from the DVD was never used on the blu-ray), but the menus themselves are more "advanced" on the blu-ray (you can access them while the episode is playing, for example).

yea, but in the appropriate thread. this thread is clearly about speculation about the s14 DVD/Blu Ray (and talking about it after it is out). if you wanted to give your opinion on the movie, which is fine, there's a thread for that. randomly talking about the movie in a thread not about the movie is going O/T from what the original thread is supposed to be about
