I guess this is their first big appearance since the announcement.

It will prescribe for every one where they are to work, what they are to work at, where they may go and what they may say. Socialism is an attack on the right to breathe freely. No socialist system can be established without a political police. They would have to fall back on some form of Gestapo, no doubt very humanely directed in the first instance."

Thank you. I've been looking for that for a couple weeks now. Looks like we're going to have to get used to Beavis' changed voice, but it's not like we can really blame Judge for that. I have to say Beavis sure doesn't feel as stupid as he should be the way he talks, though. I always thought Butthead had a little more in his brain, but with the newer spots they've had I feel like the roles have switched. Even the line "You must put on the special glasses you were given in the lobby" was a little too fluent for Beavis, while Butthead has proven that when he speaks with sense it's quite hilarious ("Beavis, I have seen the top of the mountain, and it is good."). Judge sounds like he really wants the revival to capture the original series, so perhaps he'll be referring back to his episodes hardcore.
I loved the utterance of "dumbass" at the end. Kind of off-topic, but does anyone else find it surprising how serious Judge is in his interviews (DVDs)? When I watch this guy I cannot believe he invented this series. I have yet to see him laugh, perhaps even smile.

"There's a couple of things they don't teach you in Harvard Business School. One is how to cope with defeat; the other is how to handle a shotgun. I'm going to do both right now."
Thanks for the B & B-H before Jackass 3-D clip...now, that was puely enjoyable! (not to mention it may have made my entire week!)
That's only like half the short though. :/
I dunno. I like the subdued introduction. It was a pleasant surprise in the theater when this came on.
Thanks, that was definitely better to watch.
I can't imagine new Beavis and Butthead episodes. Would they still make fun of music videos? I don't know if it would fit well with today's crap.
Oh wow, imagine what they'll say about music TODAY. When is this coming?
......
No dates have been mentioned yet, only confirmation we've been given is that they are being worked on and will air on MTV. Hopefully within the next year or so!
And here I thought there was an update.

Attending the MTV upfront presentation in New York, Tim Stack reports that the network just announced that Beavis & Butt-Head will indeed make its triumphant return to the network. The announcement confirms previous online reports, some from creator Mike Judge himself, that MTV was working on a return of the hit series.
When will Beavis air? Executives did not say. But they did give a premiere date for the network’s TV series version of Teen Wolf. The drama will debut June 5, after the MTV Movie Awards.

Heckling a Puppet show.
Some other article (plagued with Justin Bieber) posted by the Beavis and Butthead fanpage on Facebook said this summer for the return.
Interesting this is going to be. Gonna be cool to be able to watch this show on original airdates.
cool. maybe ten years from now, they'll bring the simpsons back.
Heh...heh...heh...heh...heh....I can see it now: the return of...THE GREAT CORNHOLIO!!!
I hope they review music videos in the new episodes
I want to hear how they slam WHACKSTREET BOYS, 98 DISEASE, N*STINK, and all those other pathetic boy bands.
I believe that was one of the main things (and only things so far) previously stressed by all the reports.
Has it been confirmed that an actual new series with full episodes will be coming (as opposed to vignettes starring the duo, possibly introducing other shows etc, for instance)?
Beavis and Butthead have reviewed music video made even before MTV first went on the air. I'm sure they will review videos from the late 90's in addition to recent videos and ones made in bbetween those times. Most "outdated" videos end up getting a thumbs down from this duo.

CONUNDRUM: Does Butt-Head still like AC/DC?
That is probably true just as much as Beavis still liking Metallica.
But I wonder what band Stewart's shirt will have on it since Winger is a band few teenagers know about today. I'm sure it will be difficult to come up with a band popular in recent times that was always uncool to B&B that Stewart may think is cool.
