Kinda funny considering the recently-aired Benderama, although not written by Verrone, is very similar to another one of his comics, "Six Characters In Search Of A Story". There's a whole plot in it where Bender finds a matter copying machine and Planet Express becomes overrun with Bender clones. The bookends for the story has the Professor talking to the crew from a bathtub, which is also very similar to the bathtub scene in said episode. Not saying they're copying, it's just very weird how similar these plots are getting.
Eric Rogers has taken note that the plot description sounds very similar to that particular Futurama comic but he has said that "They are different stories"

Not worthy of a thread (yet), but Volume 6 comes out December 20th.

Last of the announcements that we can tell you about is Futurama Volume 6 landing on December 20, Commentaries are planned for every episode, along with a selection of deleted scenes, a segment with Professor Farnsworth and others about the music and the fans. It's all about the fans.

Two eyes, two ears, a chin, a mouth, ten fingers, two nipples, a butt, two kneecaps, a penis. I've just described to you the Loch Ness Monster. And the reward for its capture? All the riches in Scotland. So I have one question: why are you here?

Interesting stuff to be sure. I really hate the way they count their seasons/episode count though, but that's obviously a minor complaint.

Most interesting bit of info to me is how we can expect something like "Homerazzi" next year involving Bender, so...."Benderazzi!?"

"The Late Philip J. Fry" is up for an emmy:

Other contenders: South Park, The Simpsons, The Cleveland Show (.....really?! really?!), and Robot Chicken.

Maurice LaMarche is also up for an emmy for his vocal work on "Lrrenconcilable...."...eh, you know what, you know the title already.

Hopefully Futurama wins, especially with the crap they have to compete with (Cleveland outright, the fact that The Simpsons nominated "Angry Dad: The Movie"...). Would be very happy if Maurice wins too, he has been an outstanding talent during the show's run.

Good interview with Patric Verrone, including some previously unseen footage from "Reincarnation" (6:30 mark, roughly):
