    Snowballing (Season 1)

Yeah I get that the title is kind of sexual. But basically the rules are that the first person (me) has to describe season 1 in one word then the second in 2, third in 3 etc etc.

    Quirky

It's like "describe the episode in 5/1 word(s)" which has also its place here at the university.

    4: hilarious with alltime highs

15: Fraudcast News was unusually good for the era, but it only got worse from there.

16: Now it definitely becomes bland and inspiration seems totally lost but the show goes on whatsoever.

#19: Really well season, somewhat humorous, but somewhat boring. Needed more plots to support the movie, but, sadly, it didn't.

20- An overrated season which many people find almost as good as the classic era. Last half of which is HD!

#21: Somewhat humorous season, most critics hate it. Fine details in episodes, but terrible recent episode. What are the writers thinking?

22: This September, things will never be the same again as another season starts and it's the best one since the mid 90s.

^^^That's my idea of a joke.
I've had it up to here with these rickets!

Start from the very beginning (seasons not words).

Season 1 23 words: A fantastic combination of wacky animation, subtle comedy and well executed plots as well as brilliant characterizations ignoring 'There's no disgrace like home'.

I don't get it - do we only have to use 23 words in our answer???

You write 1 more word than the last post.

  27. #27

    Oh ok.

Season 2: There was definitely a more good balance of humour, emotion and storytelling in this one. Imo, Lisa's Substitute and Blood Feud are notable mentions.

Season 3: The season where the show really came into its own, lots of great episodes, plenty of laughs, plus a few serious episodes. Altogether good season.
Kids, let me tell you about another so-called ``wicked'' guy. He had long hair and some wild ideas. He didn't always do what other people thought was right. And that man's name was...
I forget. But the point is... I forget that, too. Marge, you know what I'm talking about. He used to drive that blue car?

-- Homer's parable of the guy in the blue car, ``Homer the Heretic''

    Ralph: I Won! I Won!
Principal Skinner: No Ralph this means you're failing English
Ralph: Me fail English? That's unpossible.

season 4: Widely recognized as the best and funniest season,
with the immensely popular "Last Exit to Springfield"-episode which is reference to as the best episode ever.

5 - With the widely acclaimed episode "Cape Feare", we find a season that is nothing less than entertaining. Mirkin drew the perfect line between utter insanity and hilarity.
