I say we do a 30 event olympiad, where a panel of 60 international judges will watch and grade our every move, deciding who wins and eventually gets to choose which episode we watch.

Or we could just pull names out of a hat. whichever you like better.

Whichever way the people are selected, it'd probably make the most sense to make sure everyone has had a go at it before starting back over again.

Seriously I really like Saturday as a starting day.

We're all mostly, I'm assuming, nerds with no life, so our afternoons should be pretty free of obligations. We have the time off but enough time remaining in the weekend to ensure that if there's something that needs to get done by Monday, there's time to get it done.

And if people can't make Saturday then they don't - it's not like this thread will only be open on Saturday. The time can be made up for at any other point in the week, but by the time it's the next Saturday, it's time for the next episode.

The only other day I can honestly see working is Friday, since most of us tend to have school Monday-Thursday and on Sundays we'll be more focused on the new episode to really do this. (I'm well aware it's possible to talk about two episodes on the same day but why clutter it up when it's not necessary to do so?)

I know I nominated Cape Feare earlier, but after some thought I think that instead of doing an episode like Feare, Soul, LETS, Lisa's Sub, or other common top episodes that would just turn the discussions into a massive circlejerk, we should highlight an episode that is still good, but is maybe underappreciated/not really thought about.

For example, maybe "The Homer they Fall" or "Bart After Dark"

I like this idea. It would be good to mix in a few of those episodes that are less talked about with the fan favorites.
