Freakazoid. I loved Animaniacs and Tiny Toons but there were too many side characters in each I didn't like and would ruin it for me.

I love good-written shows with a large cast. It delivers a lot of variation.

Agreed. Me and my friends are creating a show with a huge cast (a whole town) and it provides the plots and everything with lots of variation. The show can be numerous things at the same time and characters can interact with a huge variety of people obviously you have to be careful that it doesn't go overboard and become ridiculous but still they can work very well.
