Itchy & Scratchy Land, yo. Shame that it exited the Hurt and Heal thread so early.

    I like I&S episodes.

    1. The Day the Violence Died A
I just think this is a really well told story with some great gags and a fantastic ending. Chester J. Lampwick ("Look under the frame, Brad"; "that's the last time I try and impress a four year-old") is fantastic and so are the court scenes.

    2. Itchy and Scratchy and Marge A
Perhaps the best satire the show has ever done. This is one of the few episodes in the show where I feel the satire genuinely adds to the episode and my enjoyment of it (most of the time I see it as a nice add-on).

    3. The Itchy and Scratchy and Poochie Show A
Everything with Poochie is freakin' hilarious. And there's some good satire in there too.

    4. Itchy and Scratchy Land B+
Funny but gets boring on repeat viewings.

    5. Itchy and Scratchy: The Movie B
Good, but a bit dull. It never really reaches a climax, it just keeps going and going... It's also not that funny.

    6. The Front C+
Completely forgettable and empty. What even happens in this? Bart and Lisa write an episode, then Grandpa wins an award for it? I've pretty much forgotten the whole middle of this episode. One of the worst of the classic era.

That's exactly how I would rank them. The Day the Violence Died is criminally underrated. Lampwick is one of my favorite one-time characters, and the episode is loaded with jokes.

Very hard to choose, but I might have to give it to Itchy & Scratchy Land for the Westworld parody, as well as Klu Klux Klam and "Bort".

Itchy & Scratchy & Marge: 10/10 engaging storyline and some laugh out loud moments, but not as many as other I&S episodes, whilst Marge suffers from being irritating

Itchy & Scratchy: The Movie: 10/10 funny throughout and by the only one to stir any real emotion in me, as by the end I felt genuine pity for Bart. Definitely the best of the lot

The Front": 10/10. Much like a better version of Dancin' Homer in that it produces a great number of quickfire giggle inducing gags, but none of the great quotable lines we remember the Simpsons by, unlike most of the others on this list.

Itchy & Scratchy Land: 10/10. Hilarious from start to finish and easily the funniest I&S episode, but for overall quality of characterisation and emotions loses to I&S: The Movie

The Day the Violence Died: 8/10. Good, but not memorable compared to the rest of the classic run. As with The Front, it's funny but not memorable and loses marks compared to the front because I didn't like the joke about Bart and Lisa lookalikes. (Also this may have something to do with me watching them in chronological order, with The Front following a clip show and TDTVD following Homer the Smithers)

The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show: 10/10. Again, wall the wall hilarity from yet another fantastic episode. Not quite as funny as Itchy & Scratchy Land or Itchy & Scratchy: The Movie though imo.
    Favourite Seasons: 6, 5, 3, 7, 2

    The Front
One of the most underrated episode of The Simpsons. Two interesting plots and a huge number of excellent jokes.
