Eight DVDs (65 episodes + both movies) for 50-ish dollars?? Sold, man.

What's great is that I've only seen about 5 episodes of this show total, so this'll pretty much all be new to me.

Bump For Reasons I shall say

Well it looks like Amazon is going up and down with the price. Hopefully, it will stay where it is at now. Is this happening to anyone else who pre-ordered?

I liked this show, cracked me up a lot.
Funny enough Daria was my favorite character of the show.

they do with almost any pre-order, I'm gonna wait until it's released before I throw any money at them for it. There have been occasions the price lowers the day after it's released.

Cheapy looking t-shirt...a couple of years ago, I ordered a 'Daria' tee that was dark blue, had her FULL image (unlike the tee offered and they have the logo) and has her saying the EXACT same thing the offer is stating.

I bought the tee for a frined of mine who is a 'Daria' fan-he's overseas and is nearly completing his service to the Navy.

http://www.locatetv.com/tv/daria According to this reliable source. Daria will be airing May 10th on MTV2. Also, earlier in the month. MTV2 posted on the Daria Facebook that they would air eps on MTV2.

Why is Daria getting all this attention, when the show that it was spun off from, Beavis and Butthead, not. Why haven't Beavis and Butthead had a complete series released? I mean, i can understand the copyright trouble with the music videos, but for everything else there's no excuse! And Beavis and Butthead have popped up on MTV2 occasionally, but not on any consistant time slot. Heck I havent seen them on any network since December!

Daria and B&B are way different. Daria has smart humor, B&B Has immature humor. I love Beavis and Butthead, but, Daria was better. I think they really want to get music videos before they release anything though.

So it's a TV show with a (presumably) gay fanbase, and it gets more exposure on another channel. What's the big problem? It doesn't mean you're gay for watching it, if that's what you're worried about.

I didnt say I spoke for every one, now did I? And I stand for gay rights so your comment is faulty. I said I thought it was strange since they said it was gonna air on MTV2. Get your facts straight first.

You just seemed strangely angry that they were daring to show it on a gay-themed channel. You can still watch it despite what it's on. Or if you're really concerned about your manly image, just wait for the DVD.

I watch Logo all the time for Buffy. Don't make assumptions about me. I already pre-ordered the dvd. I'm mad because I heard Logo usually cuts stuff out. And people might get the impression Daria is a lesbian.

Oh no(!) Then if they liked the show they'd keep watching and find out she wasn't a lesbian, not that it matters. If they didn't like the show then they'd go away with the wrong impression and nothing would change.

The one time you come here is to insult me? I stand for gay rights and what your doing is quite pathetic. I laugh at the fact you are trying so hard to piss me off. I was just posting the information and my thoughts. If I dont want a show to be on that channel for my own reasons than that is my opinion. Don't try to change it.

I'm not trying to annoy you. I simply just wanted an explanation for your ridiculous over-reaction, which I got, inane as it was.

Just been bittorrenting a few of these, and noticed they've got a bunch of 'big hits' of the '90's all over them! Hope they got the rights!

I do too, but I kind of doubt it and I think I heard from a friend that they didn't get the rights, but I'm not sure where she heard this from.
Keep it down in there, everybody!

I thought the DVD comes out May 10th?????

Had Logo when my older brother subscribed to digital cable. He switched to satellite (Dish Network)-doesn't carry that channel.

Not to start a debate, but B&B may be this and Daria may be that, but I know which show makes me laugh harder

I enjoy the soap opera elements of Daria and the serialization and some of the observations about friendships and dooming yourself and identity

But god I love B&B so much more. Just because it's "immature" doesn't mean it isn't saying something. It IS smart humor. About dumb people. It was such a ballsy thing for MTV to put on, a show that completely shits on it's own viewers and generation.

Apples and oranges though. I did really like Daria but it almost never made me laugh.

I got my dvd early through dariaondvd.com

However, I do know that one of the songs that remained (not the only one) was Brittaney's dream sequence song from "College Bored." The interviews were a jip seeing as who Daria Facebook has more scenes from the interviews that they decided not to put on the dvd. The quality is actually pretty good! and IICY has 12 lines cut
