After all the title-hate, which ones do we like?
I like this one.
"El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer
(The Mysterious Voyage of Homer)"

bart the fink
simple, tells you what the episode's about, and it's a clever pun... can't ask for more than that

Flaming Moe's
El Viaje (etc)
The Springfield Files
The Springfield Connection
Rosebud

Treehouse of Horror (despite how used to it we may be now, it was actually a clever pun back when the first one was made)
I don't have any problem with most of the straight-forward ones though.

When Flanders Failed
Rosebud
Homer's Phobia
The Joy of Sect
The Otto Show
and more recently, Springfield Up

Most of the ones mentioned here. Back when they were simply what the episode is about, and sometimes parodies of other things. But they were way more creative then most anything from nowadays

I don't get bitching about titles, but I do like all the old Bart the.../Lisa the.../Homer the... titles.
R is among the most menacing of sounds. That's why they call it murder, not muckduck.
Worst Episode Ever
Summer of 4 Ft. 2
Lisa the Iconoclast - mainly because it taught me a new word.

Maybe I'm dense, but what's the pun in "Flaming Moe's"?
I like just about anything with the word Springfield in it--it always sounds a little more grand in scope. 'Round Springfield, Last Exit to Springfield, Springfield Up, and the upcoming Once Upon a Time in Springfield.
When Flanders Failed is a good one too.
Lemon of Troy
Brother From Another Series
Simpsoncalifragilsticexpialad'ohcious! is the only One word episode title. Some day I hope we get another One word episode title! ..Just like some movies,.. wouldn't that be cool,.. and possibly funny?
Can a single word be funny? Krusty might know a few...

Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire- it's a pun of course, and I like the fact they didn't call it "Pilot", as many shows typically do. They went with an actual title

homer to the max is a clever title with double meaning

^That one was "I, D'oh-bot" or "I, (Annoyed Grunt)-bot", so not one word. Good call on Rosebud though, I knew there was one.
EDIT: There's also Duffless, Homerpalooza, Pygmoelian, HOMЯ and probably more.
