South Park and anime ANYTHING is just such a bizarre combination. They're really like night and day.

Apparently I forgot to review this episode. Craig's brother once made him watch a marathon of Whale Wars, so instantly this episode had appeal. I have to admit I thought it was pretty good, especially proving the "one person can make a difference" ideal. Only part that bugged the crap out of me was the ending. We eat meat, I get it. Meh.

Heh, that one succeeded because of the huge difference. It was funny seeing anime-styled characters with the usual South Park voices/mannerisms/language.

It's basically that the whole anime subculture, complete with its often overzealous (usually teenage) fans who ship characters together and like to consider that certain characters are gay/have repressed feelings/whatever...I feel all that stuff is about as far from the whole feeling of South Park as possible, and its creators.
