Sadly, yes. I can either quote or reference something from the Simpsons when we have a conversation (any conversation). It goes over their heads, and have no idea what I'm talking about, or they shake their head and call me,"dork."

I'm more of a critic than a fan.

I'm definitely the biggest Simpsons fan I know. One of my closest friends was a fan, but that didn't last. Most of my friends don't even watch the show.

I am cause no matter how mediocre the episode I still have my rose coloured glasses firmly on.
The show will forever be in my heart since I was only 4 when it started so it is one of my earliest memories!

I'm not the only one I know who watches it, but I am the only one I know who has so much knowledge of it. I know the writers, directors, executive producers, production codes, and all that stuff, and if someone quotes the show randomly, I can tell them which episode it came from.

Oh, yeah. My friend will ask me questions about the show in front of his friends just to show off how supremely brilliant I am.

I am now. The Simpsons was the shit 10 years ago when I wasn't into it and hadn't seen the early seasons because my parents wouldn't let me watch it, I never got to see the show until I was about 11 years old and saw a few ABC reruns of the classic series that just blew me away, I couldn't believe how funny yet realistic cartoon characters could be, all of the everyday problems the characters had while ridiculous things were mixed in at a perfect balance, I loved the show, but by the time I had discovered it, it's popularity was already fading. Now everyone likes Family Guy, I'm one of the 5 or 6 Simpsons fans left at my high school, and the only people who hate Family Guy also hate The Simpsons.

    Are you being sarcastic?

I know a few people who are huge fans of the classic era and I have one friend who so far has every single season on DVD and has also seen every single episode so far. I'd say they're as big of fans as I am.

"Look, Marge, you don't know what it's like. I'm the one out there every day putting his ass on the line. And i'm not out of order! You're out of order. The whole freaking system is out of order. You want the truth? You want the truth?! You can't handle the truth! Because when you reach over and put your hand into a pile of goo, that was your best friend's face, you'll know what to do! Forget it, Marge. It's Chinatown!" - Homer's rant.
