R&R The Cleveland Show: The One About Friends
Cleveland, concerned that Cleveland Jr has no friends, invites his neighbor Lester’s son Ernie to their house. Ernie becomes attached to the family and Cleveland calls child services to have Ernie taken back home. When the plan backfires, Cleveland helps Lester get his son back.
R&R here.

Heh I've just notice something...Cleveland is in every single scene all the time...the other characters have no real room to breath and it only make you feel more like a lot of them superficial
Boy is this drab...at least the shoot out was a bit entertaining

No, money down!
Worst show on Fox.
1. 2/10
2. 3/10
3. -1/10
I'm done. That was worse than any Simpsons, Family Guy, or American Dad episode I've ever seen, and that's saying something.

It is truley a horrible show, maybe it will get better. Cuz this way a we bit better than the first two episodes. However I do hope they start showing scenes without Cleveland, I would like to see other characters develope without him.

Comic Book Me
This episode has me totally sold on Cleveland, the first two episodes were just watchable. But this episode had some pretty big LOL moments for me:
Cleveland shoe shoppping
The possum in the shower scene
The Elephant man cutaway
Tim and Holt in Vegas
Cleveland wanting to join Cleveland Jr. and Ernie
Also, Cleveland dressed as Lester and Holt dressed as Cleveland was fairly amusing to look at.
The plot itself was pretty sweet. Almost American Dad standard stuff by the time it got to the shootout.
I'm giving this episode a 5/5.

has his moments
I thought this was the best episode so far. Not totally hilarious but it had me chuckling throughout. But it was an episode of two halves - the first part was kinda sweet in places with good plot development, then the second part went a bit crazy with all the shooting.
This show works so much better without the cutaways. I think there were two in this episode: the trapezist one (the most awkwardly-introduced cutaway ever), and the elephant man one. The latter was okay but the trapezist one was terrible and unnecessary.
Whereas Family Guy's only jokes are from the cutaways, TCS has plenty besides those.
4/5 - if this level of quality keeps up I may stick with this. Definitely better than FG at the moment.

Stars and Stripes Forever
Well, I decided to visit this thread before actually watching the ep. Im really curious if its somehow worst than the first episode. Im going to watch it, probably hate it, then watch season 2's premiere and hope they pulled an American Dad! and got better as it progressed.
Who is with me?

Just a couple of general questions about TCS as we don't get it in Australia; how long does the show run for and is there a website I can watch it from?
Thanks.

Freakin' Sweet User
Its a regular 21 minute show like the rest.
Can't exactly post illegal links here, so I suggest using Google.
Lucky there's a Family Guy...

BREAKING NEWS: Fox extends The Cleveland Show thru 2011!
Fox has committed to its “Family Guy” spinoff, “The Cleveland Show,” through at least mid-2011.
The network gave a back nine order to “Cleveland’s” second season, which is currently in production (due to the long lead time necessary for animated series).

Huh, nothing new. Just that apparently Cleveland's second season order was originally 13 episodes. Now it's 22...
EDIT: Oh, and apparently Glenn Howerton voiced Ernie on last week's ep, so at least there was some good to that...

If something like that is enough too ruin your week, then you really don't have much going on in your life, do you?

Well, Family Guy has taken Simpsons spot for the week. That pissed me off. The Simpsons is the new King of the Hill. Fox just doesn't care about them anymore so, that ruined my week too.

How is that breaking news? We knew months ago that a second series was already picked up, before the first began.
