Simpsons Ratings 2009/10

OK, Fox's schedule for last night was a mess, because in the eastern time zone, the BCS selection show aired at 8 and The Simpsons at 8:30, but in every other time zone, TS aired at 8, followed by The Cleveland show. But it doesn't really matter, it was a rerun of Bart gets a Z.

Fox also got a considerable boost from football, with the 7-7:30 p.m. primetime overrun at a mammoth 17.0/29, which led into post-game The OT (#1: 9.4/15) and annual Allstate BCS Selection Show (#3: 6.4/10) from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Next up on Fox was a repeat of The Simpsons at 8:30 p.m. (#4: 3.7/ 6), followed by repeats of regularly scheduled Family Guy (#4: 4.1/ 6) and American Dad (#4: 2.9/ 4) from 9-10 p.m.

Onyway, the numbers seem to be ok so far considering all shows were reruns.

Some of you guys must be out of your fucking minds to even think that Family Guy/ American Dad/ The Cleveland Show which some fans don't like it because of the main family being black, but there's no way in hell that the Simpsons will ever be cancel for trainer trash shows like Family Guy/ American Dad/ The Cleveland which some don't like to give this show a chance because of the family being african american, only if they were white they would give it a chance, these shows will never move the Simpsons out of the way are even take over Fox network.

The Simpsons are a much better show then family guy which will never have higher ratings then the Simpsons and the Simpsons are a more better popular show then Family Guy which its not all that popular anyways.

Seth MacFarlane will never take over the Fox network, anybody that have a lot of sense would no that and the Simpsons have a much better ratings then Family Guy, American Dad,and The Cleveland show put together and none of these shows will ever replace the Simpsons, some of guys are not true simpsons fans if you feel that way.

The Simpsons will always beat Family Guy ass down on ratings and if some of you guys feel that Seth MacFarlane shows are better then the Simpsons , then some of you guys should not even be in this site or even in this thread at all period, and if you don't like what i said or think that those show are a lot better then the Simpsos then some of you guys can hit the road and go to another site with those crappy Seth MacFarlane shows if you feel that way.

You keep saying the only reason we don't give Cleveland Show a chance is because of the race of Cleveland. You say that over and over. You didn't specifically say we were racist, but it is implied

A report on how the networks are doing so far:

Season To Date Ratings

Fox extended its demo ratings leads in the past week, and if Fox doesn’t completely collapse in the next 5 weeks it should hang onto the seasonal lead until American Idol and 24 arrive and its annual spring ratings beatdowns resume.

Fox continued to hold it’s big lead in adults 18-34 ratings. This season is shaping up to be a huge margin of victory for them in that demo. CBS continues to hold both the adults 25-54 rating title (which Fox may challenge depending on how Idol does), and the average viewership title, which is unlikely to be challenged.

Ratings Increase / Decrease: 2009-10 Season vs. 2008-9 Season

Fox continues to be well ahead in all ratings demographic groups vs. last season. While they were certainly helped by a big improvement in the World Series numbers, they were well ahead of last season before the baseball playoffs began.

The CW is ahead vs. last season as well, but they would be about 20% ahead of last season across the board if they’d just kept their Monday-Friday numbers steady because of the automatic boost to their ratings averages just by dumping Sunday nights. Compared to last season, the CW’s Monday-Friday ratings averages are down across the board.

ABC, NBC, and CBS are similar tales of the typical annual broadcast ratings declines (although to give CBS credit, they are even vs. last season in adults 18-34) . You might not realize that if you just read Variety, but you can look at the numbers yourself here.

So, on Sunday, we'll get the last episode of the year and it will feature a gazillion guest stars. Now, what I want to know is if that's any reason for Fox to promote the show more than usual, so I once again ask the Americans among you if you have seen any promos on Fox (if you have seen promos for The Simpsons on another network, YOU'RE STILL STONED!).

I don't have sound, so I missed the dialogue, but the entire thing was Peyton, Eli, and Cooper talking ,and then at the end, Peyton, Eli, and Cooper are playing catch {or possibly monkey in the middle?}. So the end is basically what the promo image is. And we see Bart for a split second, probably one of the parts where he wishes he had a brother
