There are a few down falls (very few!), but after finishing this episode i overlooked them and didnt really mind at all
5/5; Excellent!
4/5; Groin-Grabbingly Good!
3/5; os-os.
2/5; dissapointing.
1/5; What was that? What? I said, "What was that?"

Yes and there's thousands of child porn sites on the internet. Should the Simpsons have child porn?Originally posted by Tomacco
Don't nay-say the Osama in a Blender joke, I'll tell you why. There ARE LOTS of internet cartoons where people and animals are floating in blenders and you push the button to kill them. I'm sure people who aren't familiar with net cartoons enjoyed the episode a lot less than people like me.
Obviously that is extreme but come on guys, it was just sick. I don't approve of them on the internet and I certainly don't approve of them on Simpsons.
Marge: Homer, has the weight loss tape reduced your appetite?
Homer: Ah, lamentably no. My gastronomic rapacity knows no satieties.
FOX will probably buy the domain betterthantv.com because everytime the mention a website they make one for like WhatBadgersEat.com and put the link on thesimpsons.com episode guide.

They would've already purchased the domain prior to the airdate.
Look, this man has supposedly caused something that has torn and devastated a nation. I guess we better blend him.Originally posted by NoOneFamous
I disagree. For one thing, its Osama Bin Laden, who cares?!? Second, there are literally TONS of Osama Bin Laden flash cartoons on the internet, and they're all pretty violent and stupid. This was a great parody of those.
Some could even classify this as propaganda and then follow their argument with "double-plus not good".
Tonight's episode made my Top 5 of Season 13:
1. Weekend at Burnsies
2. I Am Furious (Yellow)
3. Half Decent Proposal
4. A Hunka Hunka Burns in Love
5. Brawl In the Family/The Old Man and The Key (tie)
Plus, did anyone see King of the Hill? That was hilarious. One of the best of the season.
I don't want to get into the Osama debate too much, but I think if I took a poll, at least 90% of people wouldn't mind if he was killed. Did it bug you when Itchy and Scratchy chopped off Hitler's head?
Anyhow, thinking back, this was a very strong episode, despite its flaws. The satire was non-stop, and I'm sure I even missed a few jokes. Stan Lee was great. Also, good use of minor characters.
Signature.

There are tons of cartoons and games on the internet that involve mutilating and killing bin Laden in much more grotesque and ridiculous ways. It was an imitation to those things, so how can you fault the show? Fault the guys who made the originals for the internet.
And nobody's complaining about Lou Rawls getting squeezed by spikes? What a double standard!![]()
It was what Badgers eat. Sorry i forgot and i edited it.

This is the famous interactive frog in a blender program!
It's a spoof on this internet cartoon!

Give me a break! It's Osama Bin Laden. It was a great joke and it wasn't in bad taste. IT wasn't like it was too graphic or anything.
A great idea and a great parody of silly internet animations. I loved it.

The names is Bond, James Bond
Quick questionL Is the title
a) I Am Furious (Yellow) or
b) I Am Furious Yellow
I have seen it spelled both ways. I know that it spoofs the 1967 Swedish film "I Am Curious (Yellow)"
I missed the Osama bit. Which is ironic because the reason I missed the first half of the episode was because Muslims in our college were having a meeting about Afganistan in our commons theater.

This episode kicked much ass! Funny as hell for tech-heads.
Stan Lee had a great guest appearance and all the jokes were on target. Really well done and I'm Very happy that it wasn't a cruel episode after all. Milhouses dad was funny at the schools career day, and tons of other great parts throughout this episode. I have to give this episode a 5/5. Only topped by the outstanding 'she of little faith'. Hope all the episodes coming up from now on are of this calibur.
Cheers!

I really enjoyed
--Nearly everything Stan Lee said or did, Nuff Said!
--The Clip Show Joke, considering last week's episode and the Malcolm in the Middle that aired directly after
--What state is Danger Dog in?
--Lou Rawls, Secret Agent
--Drunk Dinosaurs and it's replacement, The Boring World of Niels Bohr
--Milhouse saying nerds are smart

So it wasn't sick what Bin Laden did? I don't think a little cartoon jab will make up for the hell he put 1000's throughOriginally posted by or_smth

Did they reveal Comic Book Guy''s name in this episode? I missed most of the episode.
Very good episode, 4/5. Stan Lee was actually a guest star that was used well (I just thought it was funny when he was trying to turn into the Hulk), the meta-humor was less obvious, and Homer didn't seem like a complete jerk. Plus, I love Kirk presenting at the Career Day, and Homer turning into the Hulk actually had a decent explaination. There were a few flaws, granted (quarters bouncing off the bed and getting stuck in the ceiling? Yeah right), but it was still a very good episode.
And Paranoid Android, I'm pretty sure they still called the Comic Book Guy what they've been calling him for years now: Comic Book Guy.
This week's Invention Exchange:
Cake 'N Shake: the cake with a real exotic dancer, all in one box!
"Now even mom, dad, and the kids can enjoy a Chippendale dancer at little Jimmy's seventh birthday!
Thanks Tomacco. I really think they should have put in the 'yellow' in parenthesis -- but the episode was still very good. 2nd best of the season. My faith has been restored in Al Jean after the lackluster clipshow and having to sit through "Lastest Gun in the West" again -- the two worst of this season, in my opinion.Originally posted by Tomacco
It's "I Am Furious Yellow". 100% sure.

Great episode, I gave it a 4/5. Stan Lee! Whooooooooooooooo! I'm glad they used their celebrities more properly this time. I laughed everytime he came on.
Great episode!!! Not the best ever but ceartinely a good one!

That bin Laden joke was actually a parody of the hugely popular Joe Cartoon web cartoons, which include Frog in a Blender and Microwave the Gerbil.Originally posted by or_smth
Forgot the mention something. The Osama Bin Laden joke seemed low, even for Simpsons standards. Seemed a little bit of a filler, and it was quite gruesome/un-simpson like.
Above all else, it won't age well.
I thought this was a great episode, except it ended a bit abruptly. Still, I was CONSTANTLY laughing. Stan Lee has to be the best guest star since Leonard Nimoy's appearances. 5/5

Perfect episode. 5/5 John Swartzwelder is THE MAN when it comes to writing Simpsons episodes. I'd be happy if he wrote them all. The episode wasn't all over the place (like some of them have been in the past couple seasons), had some good uses of the secondary characters. The kids were actually at school, Homer was actually at work, they had a couple of what is on tv jokes, it was absolutely perfect. I love Groundskeeper Seamus! I'd love to see more of him. It did not have a forced ending like a lot of the endings have been. Perfect perfect perfect can't say enough good things; I loved it; brilliant.![]()

I think that was joke on how firm Marge makes the bed sheets when she has completed making the bed. Ever heard of the similar saying: "She had a stomach I could bounce a quarter off of!"?Originally posted by Handsome Pete

BTW, a friend was over when this was on and he said I looked like the internet guy who placed "Angry Dad" online.
Well, ya'know if you stay positive and forget about trivial things like "proper characterization," "Satire," and "emotional depth" watching new Simpsons episodes can be a seemingly enjoyable lie.

THis episode was mostly good, with a few elements I disliked. First the good, the story was well paced, pretty funny, and Stan Lee was an excellant guest star. Bad stuff: Self reference jokes, the stupid Hulk ending, and Homer being a little too angry and stupid for my personal tastes. All in all, I'll go with a 4/5 or B-.

The first act of the episode was top-notch. The boring assembly and Kirk were humorous. The "Danger Dog" "Easter Special" was very funny, as was the sly meta references.
The rest of the episode seemed mediocre, even less than average. Stan Lee was okay, and the "Angry Dad" cartoons were funny at first, but after we got the idea that they were making fun of other Internet flash cartoons, they became boring.
The plot took an odd twist in the third act when Homer decided to give up anger, but the Repo scene and the Incredible Hulk scene were fairly funny.
Overall, I'll give this one a 3/5.
C'mon, Al Jean! You can do better than that!
***All Hail Al Jean, the Holy One***

Even the 2 gross-out gags came off really well, the barf ray and dirty diapers somehow were pretty funny. Usually I hate those type of jokes but it all meshed perfectly. Here comes more great eps from here on in!![]()
