Probably higher than what it would usually be considering the flop that was The Complete Season Twenty makes even the Season Eleven set look like God.

I agree with Baby Amelia Earhart. All of the DVDs of The Simpsons (except for Season 1, 2, 3, 4, and the Movie) are rated a 12 by BBFC. I wouldn't think that Season 13 would be any lower or higher. I think a 12 is about right for The Simpsons anyway - Putting it to a 15 would just be plain stupid IMO.
Oh right. I just thought that Homer getting high on maruijana would get a higher rating.
In Australia the sets (minus Season 1, which was rated G) are usually PG, aside from Season 12 (M, for mature audiences) due to the deleted scene where the f-bomb is dropped. I would imagine here Season 13 would get an M rating as Weekend At Burnsie's is definitely rated M when it's aired on TV here - though, weirdly, Natural Born Kissers used to be rated M but Season 9 only got a PG rating here. Maybe it was just re-rated by a different group of people who are a bit more lenient. I definitely think 13 will get an M rating here though, there is a lot of drug use in that episode.

i don't know why but those pics of the artwork didn't get me very excited (Thanks for posting of course). Good to know we were right about the arcade theme.
also, since i'm the deleted scene fanatic, can someone tell me if it had any good ones? the ones from s12 were mostly bad.
oh, and any interesting commentaries?
and main menus (I'm assuming it's the simpsons and the characters on the episodes/discs waiting in line to play an arcade game or something like that)?
Hold on, someone on here already has access to the DVD boxset?
It was avalible at the San Diego Comic Con.
"Look, Marge, you don't know what it's like. I'm the one out there every day putting his ass on the line. And i'm not out of order! You're out of order. The whole freaking system is out of order. You want the truth? You want the truth?! You can't handle the truth! Because when you reach over and put your hand into a pile of goo, that was your best friend's face, you'll know what to do! Forget it, Marge. It's Chinatown!" - Homer's rant.

people who went to comic con 2010 could get a copy there i think
edit. what capt. hammer said!
probably not on both questions there, since deleted scenes are so because they probably weren't very good to put in.
and good commentaries? hmmmmm...al jean and mike scully...no. the only reason i listen to commentaries now is not because they tell me interesting stuff, it's because they're just something new to listen to.

they're not deleted because their 'bad', they're deleted because the episodes are run too long. I'm sure there might be some deleted scenes that are deleted because they're bad, but that's not the main reason for a lot of them.
a little over two weeks! I can finally see why so many people hate The Lastest Gun. also, an opinion question, but since I haven't seen all the episodes in a while, and I'm sure some have (whether you own the DVD or not), where does this rank? obviously not as good as the golden era (well... maybe). better than 10-12 i hope?
13 was deff. better than 10-12, but not as good as a classic season, IMO. Feels more like S9.

^ What's the difference between 'Ralphisms' and 'The Sweet Life of Ralph'?
Slightly OT: You remember how in the PatP commentary and many other 'Worst Episode Ever' contender commentaries the writers attempt top defend the episode? Think about how often they're going to be doing that on the S17+ DVDs. Greatest Story Ever D'ohed commentary is going to be VERY interesting >![]()
not much different, ralphisms is just quote after quote, whereas secret life of ralph has a few minute longs scenes and the early character "what man could tame her" and so on
So true about the deleted scenes. A shining example of an excellent deleted scene is Moleman in "Brother From Another Series":
(copied and pasted from a forum search)
When the case of money and cecil's gun falls into the river, it actually falls onto moleman(standing in front of his house).
*money falls on moleman*
Moleman:"Thank you God."
*points gun up towards the sky*
Moleman:"Now hand over the rest of it."
As for Lastest Gun, it's not horrible. However, it feels like an episode of a saturday morning cartoon. Not a bad saturday morning cartoon, but it felt more like a Recess or Doug episode.
UP AND ATOM!

i love almost every deleted scene from 5-8. ironically I think they start getting 'bad' around s9/10. the majority of the ones on s12 were really bad so I hope i like the ones on this set
Little over a month until this hits the UK. I'll be getting it first day for sure. I wonder if Season 14 will also come out this year...
Lightspeed Briefs, as seen in your dreams.

Until the movie's DVD release messed things up, the sets were usually released in an August and December pattern, so it's possible if not probable. I'm sure if Season 20 wasn't rush-released in January to cash in on the 20th anniversary that we would've seen Season 13 last December.
Season 5 - December 2004
Season 6 - August 2005
Season 7 - December 2005
Season 8 - August 2006
Season 9 - December 2006
Season 10 - August 2007
Movie - December 2007
Season 11 - October 2008
Season 12 - August 2009
Season 20 - January 2010
Season 13 - August 2010
This is the perfect opportunity for Fox to get back on their 'proper' schedule.
Though you're theory is the most likely, I think it'd be funny if FOX knew seasons 10-12 were bad and released them yearly so the Scully seasons could get as much money as possible before releasing the next set. I don't know, things may change for the Jean era, but I'm not so sure; if it were to happen we'd get the news about a month after S13 is released.
