that website mentions a release date of September 29, 2010. the only real problem i see is that's a wednesday and not a tuesday. so pardon me if this information isn't true

^ Nice find. The Simpsons Seasons DVDs in Australia usually come out on a Wednesday. And I think we usually get it a few weeks later than the US so that could be an indication that it comes out in the US in August or early September.

here in the us they come out on tuesdays generally. but still, it could come out on a wednesday

The website you linked was to an Australian site not a US one so that's probably just when it's coming out in Australia. So its most likely be out on a Tuesday in the US still.

As has been said, Sanity is an Australian music/DVD store, and DVDs are generally released on Wednesdays here

Yep, usually we get them around a month after the US. Honestly wouldn't be surprising either, the old release schedule was August and December for the US, so hopefully Fox is going back to that finally.

i myself am definitely gonna buy this. i haven't seen some of the episodes {and if i have i haven't for quite some time}, and of course, bonus features {assuming they are back, they might not be but hopefully are}.

I really hope they go back to the August and December releases. If we're lucky, we'll get seasons 13 and 14 this year. That may be hoping for too much though. I want to see the cover for this set sometime soon.

I'm hoping it's Moe or Apu. I think Comic Book Guy was the right choice for Season 12, but 13 should be Moe or Apu. Ideally Moe with a fold-out of his bar and the DVD's as beer coasters. If it's some random character I'll be diappointed, and no Arti Ziff isn't big enough character for this, but him on the spine would also be good...

apu- quik-e-mart theme

moe- the tavern

flanders- church?

burns- the power plant

^ I think that Flanders would work better with a mall theme, because of the Leftorium. I think that characters could be doing more interesting things in the mall than at church.

Keep in mind that the theme doesn't have to match the character. Season 8 featured Maggie and the menus were characters... uh... standing there?

Ya it is a photo album. And the themes have matched the characters on seasons 11 and 12 which makes sense that season 13's theme would match the character.

regret buying S11 now, the only releases I'm anticipating are seasons 13 -15.
