This is probably my favorite season two episode, because it managed to combine emotion, character backstory, and great gags; it's sort of a template (in addition to the pilot and "Episode Two: The Series Has Landed", I'd say) for the more dramatic episodes of seasons three and four.

i agree, this is easily one of my favourites of the season. it had everything. humour, emotion, drama, suspense, and a plot that ties everything together, it was amazing.

It has an evil robot Santa

I'd love this episode even if it didn't have fantastic jokes, characterization, and emotion. One of my favorites from Season 2 so far (just bought the DVD set today), 15/15

Great episode, easily one of my favourite from volume 2. Apart from the disturbing fact that the professor gets naked twice, it has great jokes, plotline, emotion, it had everything. I also loved the appearence of Conan O Brian. Awesome episode 5/5

I love it, it show what kind of show futurama is, with all those cool futuristic tricks and twists, with a great plotline, some e motion, and an EVIL SANTA!

best gag was the electic clock gag with fry hanging on the numbers.

This episode really helped me to get into the show. Perfect.
"Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the object worship of the state. It will prescribe for every one where they are to work, what they are to work at, where they may go and what they may say. Socialism is an attack on the right to breathe freely. No socialist system can be established without a political police. They would have to fall back on some form of Gestapo, no doubt very humanely directed in the first instance."
