Nice bump!

do people dislike that joke? what the hell
FIRST POST! Just read the thread and would like to add a few of my own. Apologies if some aren't as underrated as they are in my group of friends.
Homie The Clown
When Homer's clown car crashes into the tree and has about a second delay before he flys through the windscreen.
Legs: When he's done in there I gotta go.
Lemon of Troy
Flanders: Eat all of our shirts!
Homer vs Patty & Selma
Tax guy: And it also says that you once grabbed a dog by the hind legs and pushed it around like a vaccuum cleaner.
Burns' Heir
Marge: Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Homer: Yeah, let's push him down the steps.
Homer Goes To College
Homer: Hello Dean, you're a stupidhead.
Marge On The Lam - IMO the episode with the most underrated throwaway gags.
I'm afraid sorry doesn't cut it with this pope! *COLLAR GRAB GULP NOISE*
Bart: We could always put your hair up in curlers, Hom-ena.
Homer: Oh that would be del... quiet boy!
Homer: Haven't you kids seen Home Alone? If some burglars come it will be a very humourous and entertaining situation.
Willie: How come no-one else's chair is doin' this?
Otto: Oh wow, I've wasted my life!
Farmer: Ma cans, ma precious antique cans. Aw look what you've done to 'em!
Hutz: Look at him for godsake, he's wearing a belt.
Wiggum: "It's a ghost car!" and "Quiet, I can't hear the eggs."

Homer: "Yeah, and this perpetual motion machine that Lisa made today is a joke. It just keeps going faster and faster!"
...
Homer: "Lisa, come here!"
Lisa: "Yes, dad?"
Homer: *pointing to perpetual motion machine* "In this house we OBEY THE LAWS OF THERMODYNAMICS!"
by: The Spruce Moose

Also,
Class: "Oooh, Lisa likes Nelson!"
Milhouse: "She does not!"
Class: "Milhouse likes Lisa!"
Janie: "No he doesn't!"
Class: "Janie likes Milhouse!"
Mr. Largo: "NOBODY LIKES MILHOUSE!"

and, I think the scene where Bart and Milhouse are running to the lemon tree in "Lemon of Troy" is just genius. Milhouse is following Bart and manages to slip into the creek, hit his head on the loose fence post, and fall down a hill in a space of about 10 seconds. So funny.

Lisa: "I just don't feel challenged."
Skinner: "Of course we could make things more challenging, Lisa, but then the stupider students would be in here complaining, furrowing their brows in a vain attempt to understand the situation."
Lisa: "egghhh."
Don't know why but this line of Skinner's makes me laugh every time!

those are all great jokes, but they all could've probably fit into one post
Grandpa's World War I flashback in Special Edna.
It probably would have gotten more recognized if it was done in the classic era.
AHHHHHHHH BOOGEYMAN!

This joke from Homer's Triple Bypass never seems to get mentioned
Homer: Oww! Remember your hippopotamus oath!
I love that Homer would mix up Hippocratic with Hippopotamus.
by: The Spruce Moose

Homer: That shot is impossible! Jack Nicholson himself couldn't make it.
Todd: It is difficult, Mr. Simpson. The best strategy is to play conservatively. Hug the rail: it won't go in, but you set yourself up for an easy deuce.
Todd gets a hole in one.
Todd: "Oh! Well, huh, it went in."
That entire episode is underrated as hell.

Yeah, it is pretty underrated.
Go to sleep...
And good night...
La-la la la la la la...
Dee-dee-dee...
Dee-dee-dee...
May your Christmas Days be bright!
Homer Alone is also pretty underrated

"Homer Alone" is one of my top favorites, and I've always thought "Dead Putting Society" was underrated.
I'm too sleep-deprived to think of any jokes, though...
"i guess we just haven't been whipping you enough."
"Oh and I stepped on one of your peacocks, gotta paper towel"?

Well around season 18 or so Homer has this infatuation with Mayonaise I think. Both times being hillarious. Didnt expect to laugh that loud. "Help me Mayonaise!"
Salesman: only suckers buy that computer, youre not a sucker are you?
Homer: o heavens no!
Salesman: Good because if you were i would have to ask you to leave
and also:
man with whip: no listening, you hear me?
Homer: uh no?
man with whip: you just dont learn do you?

"Big Bill McCloskey coming up. As soon as he pops out, we'll go right to the post-game show."
Marge: Now be good for Grampa while we're at the parent-teacher meeting. We'll bring back dinner.
Lisa: What are we gonna have?
Homer: Well, that depends on what your teachers say. If you've been good, pizza. If you've been bad... uh... let's see...poison.
Lisa: What if one of us has been good and one of us has been bad?
Bart: Poison pizza.
Homer: Oh, no! I'm not making two stops!

^my favourite episode of all time.
I think Special Edna is underrated too. I personally thought EFCOT was hilarious. Even though it needed stuff integrated into it, jokes in that certain segment like Homer escaping EFCOT and getting a $15.00 churro from DW were great references to Disney's culture.
"Alright, can you read this out for me?"
AEIOU
"Aeeeeeiiiiiioooooooooouuuuuuu..."
"No, no, no! The letters!"
"Scratchnsniff, Scratchnsniff, Scratchnsniff..."
"Hey! Dr. Otto Scratchnsniff, you might have won a million dollars!"
"Are you married?"
"GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"
"Well, with a temper like that, he'll never!:)"
.......
Hilarious stuff all, but I think it was Mr. Burns who said, "There's a 'new' Mexico?
by: The Spruce Moose
that jokes been used a few times. mountain of madness had this exchange.
homer: i lost my map
smithers: you haven't been issued a map yet
