isn't the fun of threads like this the fact that some moments (Such as the one that was just posted last by Melvin) could be in multiple episodes, which makes you think? otherwise it would be way too easy and probably the first person to guess would be right.

for instance, earlier in the thread, i posted one that was 'nelson is scolded by principal skinner', which obviously has happened many times, and it took like 2-3 pages before someone got it. surely that's more fun than giving a moment that has only happened a small handful of times?

I don't like it because even if we guessed correctly you could lie and say it was a different episode, not that I'm saying anyone would do that.

I find a genuinely obscure moment much more fun and exciting when you finally get it so I disagree here Percy, but fair enough this will be my last post in this thread.

EDIT: And it doesn't make you think as much as make it a guessing game honestly just thinking about it kinda annoys me but whatever. I have a much easier time liking this is the screengrab thread.

fair enough.

i just enjoy the moments where someone posts something like 'homer strangles bart' (not that obscure though) and you have to go through episodes you remember this happening in and just guess. the chance that someone is lying, if after it is guessed, i try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt so i doubt anyone would lie.

I just want to say I usually let the person go ahead if their answer is right and it was just my bad foresight.

however, in this case, what filled my mind was "screw the post-classic era, I'm not checking that"
