i'll start, i guess
it was okay, New Brian was...interesting, and quickly dealt with, but i'm glad FG is actually going back to somewhat having plots instead of just being a ton of random gags thrown together. Plus i laughed at the "Family Man" thingy
3.5/5, rounded up to 4/5
and that thing with Peter at the beginning with his spine....pretty fucking horrifying
5/5 I LOOOOOVE Farts

This episode reminded me of how the show actually has strong characters and they don't need to rely on random humor all the time. The Brian / Stewie stuff was some nice character-based humor. Thumbs up.
i dont see the appreciation for the episode. all the so called jokes were just a string of predictable situations. nothing made me laugh i knew how it was gonna end just judging by the promo during Simpsons. Just when the season was looking good they do somthing stupid like this to fuck it all up. 1/5
I didn't really see anything particularly great about this episode either. James L. Brookes said it nicely - it was a string of predictable situations with plenty of the usual Family Guy half-assed humor.
What really sucked, however, was the ending. It seems like every time they try to write a character driven episode (which are almost always centered around Brian), they take a cop-out ending. There was absolutely nothing shown with "New Brian" that would suggest that he's doing things behind their back. To me it was obvious that they wrote themselves into a corner and were like, "so um, we need to get rid of him. Um, have.. Stewie kill him, I guess. Yeah."
Seriously though, American Dad is still the best show of Sunday night. Get with the program NHC!
I loved it. I laughed so hard when I saw Peter with his spine all fucked up. ROFL
