Well, for the first time this thread we have a tie! Smoke on the Daughter and Mona Leaves-a, 11 votes each. So I have a choice here: I can eliminate both episodes, OR eliminate one depending on which one gathered the greater amount of votes in previous rounds, OR flip a coin and eliminate an episode based on that, OR choose the episode I personally liked least.

Plenty of options, so I'd like the public opinion on what I should do.

I'm going to repost the current standings here so I can find them easily enough when the time does come to eliminate something (these are the same as the end of round 8, nothing has been eliminated yet):

Maybe it's just my personal hatred of SOTD speaking, but I'd eliminate that due to the fact that it garnered far more votes the previous round. But I wouldn't be opposed to simply eliminating both for an 11th Place tie, either, as like iceiwynd said, the other one is simply going to go next round, anyways.

Usually what was done in these cases was to ask a trivia question and the person who answered it correctly first decided which to eliminate.

I think you should go to that route but I if I was you I would have bumped the thread and waited for another vote.

But I definitely don't think you should eliminate both as the whole point of this is determing the pecking order of these episodes. A tie wouldn't settle anything.
