Rory Root, whose Comic Relief store in Berkeley has been a mainstay of
the Bay Area comic book scene, (and who some have said was rumored to
be the man that 'The Simpsons' Comic Book Guy was based on,) died
yesterday, May 19th, of complications following hernia surgery.
Details for his services will be forthcoming on the Comic Relief website.

Is the one who is mentioned on the audio commentaries or do they never give a name? Will be interesting to see if they have an In Memory at the end of the next episode for him with a picture of Comic Book Guy.
