    Both are excellent, interesting characters but Selma has had more well-rounded characterizations and episodes exploring her characters over the years, so this one goes to her.

    Selma has episodes like Selma's Choice and A Fish Called Selma. My vote easily goes to her.

    Selma as she is used more and has been given character and by the time the China episode aired she was nicer towards Homer whilst Patty has stayed horrible with not as many episodes.

    The only episode Patty has is There's Something about Marrying,and a part of The Otto Show.
