    Million Dollar Abie

Pretty good episode. The plot is decent and the jokes are pretty good. I don't like the ending, but this episode still gets a B from me.

Although it had a crazy third act and the lame die-pod joke. It fares better than the stuff from seasons 19-20 and has an abnormally special place in my heart, so I'll give it a C.

The essense of Jean mediocrity. I'm struggling to remember what happened, and although I remember the setup to be pretty good, Abe's suicide attempt was neither funny or emotional...just seemed cruel, and it was all downhill from the end of Act 1. 7/15

Weird plot, not very funny... wasn't this the night they first aired a teaser for the movie? Shame THAT was the highlight. C+ I'll go with

more an average episode for me. There is nothing really positive about it, but also not that bad. At least watchable imo.

Good first act, but the episode went downhill from there.

Kids, let me tell you about another so-called ``wicked'' guy. He had long hair and some wild ideas. He didn't always do what other people thought was right. And that man's name was...
I forget. But the point is... I forget that, too. Marge, you know what I'm talking about. He used to drive that blue car?

Act One was somewhat humourous for the era, but it all goes downhill after Grampa kidnaps that commissioner guy (I think that's who it was). Abe as a bull fighter is just a bad idea and not even an energetic one. Any nice moments seen near the beginning seem to be swiftly taken away. D-

One of the best of Season 17 for me, a good plot with good jokes. Funny subplot, too. 14/15

Better than most of the season, some good jokes like "One tiger is named Homer Simpson" and "Celebrate my promotion....to a god!" B-

I suppose I'll have to view this one again because my impression of it from the past was that it was terrible in both story and humour. F If I change my mind on it I'll gladly say so.

I agree that it is one of the best from season 17. great subplot, the main plot basically went to shit when homer started thinking that he was a good but it was still good enough. B-

Overall, a pretty good episode. Subplot and main plot where pretty good overall. I liked the part with Apu's cousin answering the phones for all those outsourced companies, funny stuff.

It was the only SNPP episode for like 5 years, so I can appreciate that.

a pretty outlandish idea, but not a terrible one. the beginning was fine, but unfortunately it didn't do Homer the Great well nor any decent political/satirical statement. and I forget how they reach this, but I remember thinking the Bollywood-style everybody-let's-ignore-plot-and-dance thing was pretty bad. One of my favourite post-classics. A rare travel episode that I like.

B- Whimsical, fun little episode. With both plot and subplot entertaining and holding captivation and a few big laughs. The animation was also stunning.
