i don't really like this episode either, Skinner in the newer episodes is not as good as he was before. Made him a total joke.

alot of wasted potential. i was hoping to see them actually get married in the end, and i thought edna dating comic book guy was really awkward. the first act was good, but the homer and marge subplot was as rehashed as it could get, and was too fucking much like a milhouse divided. the ending with mrs. krabappel not choosing either man has been done on waaaaaaaaaaayyy too many sitcoms. i did like skinner as catwoman and matt groening's cameo though. C-
Story-wise, I find it a letdown to the story that started with Special Edna. I guess having them break up was to maintain the status quo as Jean loves to do. I also can't stand Comic Book Guy and I see her rebound being too unrealistic (and sitcom-ish?). The ending where they fight and she chooses noone was also sitcom-ish.
C+ for the humor and feeling bad for Skinner.
Catch 'Em If U Can
Underrated episode, I actually think this one is great

calmer than you are
just got done watching it. homer and marge running off was a bit of a stretch, yet understandable. it's one of those episodes that delivers the laughs and just don't take it seriously. it's supposed to be a fun episode B/B+
Worst. Episode. Ever. (IMO) F

"Look, Marge, you don't know what it's like. I'm the one out there every day putting his ass on the line. And i'm not out of order! You're out of order. The whole freaking system is out of order. You want the truth? You want the truth?! You can't handle the truth! Because when you reach over and put your hand into a pile of goo, that was your best friend's face, you'll know what to do! Forget it, Marge. It's Chinatown!" - Homer's rant.
Bland and dumb, and bland. D+

one of the episodes i never really liked, too wacky and also not so funny imo

Awful episode. Homer and Marge where both jerkasses in this one.

Kids, let me tell you about another so-called ``wicked'' guy. He had long hair and some wild ideas. He didn't always do what other people thought was right. And that man's name was...
I forget. But the point is... I forget that, too. Marge, you know what I'm talking about. He used to drive that blue car?

Ralph: I Won! I Won!
Principal Skinner: No Ralph this means you're failing English
Ralph: Me fail English? That's unpossible.
Simple Simpson
A from me. a stand-out episode!

it's a light episode that turns out to be hilarious, and some great characterizations from homer, lisa, and burns/smithers. one of those fun episodes that i just always enjoy watching.

The Way We Weren't
Been a while since i seen this, B-
the story is a little bit far fetched, but if you ignore that, it's a funny episode in general for me. Not great, but good.

Good right up until the end, A-/A
Simple Simpson
I really like this episode, it did have it's wackiness but that wackiness worked in this episode.

The Way We Weren't
An episode that I don't care for and 1 that I feel ruined the series' continuity a little.

B+. I like it a lot, doesn't make too much sense though.

I found the concept of Homer and Marge meeting years before their "actual" meeting pretty contrived. C
