Due to school tradition, Bobby becomes a cheerleader in drag while the girls play football. Rate/review it here.

Definitely treaded on old ground in more ways than one. Bobby getting on school teams (Bobby On Track, Bobby Slam, The Son Also Roses, etc), Peggy taking on a school-related job and encountering problems with her collegues (Peggy Hits the Big Leagues, Cheer Factor, Little Horrors of Shop), Bobby standing up for a group cause/team (What Makes Bobby Run, last week's new episode, I Never Promised You an Organic Garden, etc)... it's all been done.

A shame, since the show has been really good lately.
Signature.
I'm not sure how I feel about the episode. There weren't a whole lot of laughs, but the plot was very well done. The stuff with Peggy that seemed like an unrelated b-story came back to the main plot at exactly the right moment, and the A-story was pretty good.
For the time being, I'm giving it a 4/5.
Also, was that Lisa Edlestein from House playing the PTA lady? It sounded like her but I'm too lazy to look it up.
My problem with this ep was that it started off in a unique way, then became something pretty traditional for the show. The first half of the show was a role-reversal for Hank and Bobby that I found genuinely captivating--the repeated shots of Bobby's ticked-off persona implyed some big character development was in the works...but once he started giving the other boys pointers, it was all about playing it safe once again.
Fortunately, the episode was still watchable, but I thought it had a lot more potential than what they ended up doing with it. The early Hank/Bobby conflict was very interesting to me, and I was sad to see it dropped. 3/5
Welcome to Bizarro World!
No wait, it's Arlen.
More surprising than Bobby growing out of his prop comics/borderline homosexuality is seeing Hank drag him back in.![]()

Very true. That part was my favorite part. I loved seeing Bobby thinking he was too mature for something, and I especially loved the Seinfeld reference.Originally Posted by TriforceBun
Huh, I rather liked it (more than last week's, but not as good as the premiere), and I'd give it a 4/5 right now. It wasn't too bad and I really liked the role reversal between Hank and Bobby as well, and Bobby was developing nicely... I really do wish they'd kept that up, but for what's it's worth, they didn't do too bad a job. It just could've been better. That first act was stelar.
It did feel like a bit of a retread, I suppose, but I'm really not quite as big into KotH, so it didn't bother me too much. The episode was pretty good.
This ep did what 98% of all KOTH eps do, showing the common mans everyday fight against some form of contradicting bureaucracy, and finding a homespun way to win over or circumvent it.
Par for the course 3/5

Yeah, I pretty much agree with that. I also like the bit with the principal faking a heart attack.Originally Posted by TriforceBun

I really enjoyed the first act though. A carburetor joke!??? You cant ask for more out of KOTHSame with Hank and Bill talking about the garden hose reel. Hilarious - if youre a redneck like me.
I have noticed the animation seems to have improved over the last couple seasons. Looks more like before the CG switch.
Also, Principal Moss sounded much more like himself..Still looked slightly weird. Probaly just the CG difference.
I wasnt expecting much out of this one..Pretty much what I thought it'd be. 2/5
"Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the object worship of the state. It will prescribe for every one where they are to work, what they are to work at, where they may go and what they may say. Socialism is an attack on the right to breathe freely. No socialist system can be established without a political police. They would have to fall back on some form of Gestapo, no doubt very humanely directed in the first instance."

Meh. The plot was kind of all over the place, but there were a couple jokes I laughed at. Mainly the hose talk and Dale's line, "my son's a diva!"

5/5, i think i need to see it again, but i remember thinking it was quite good and funny
