I'll bet it's a Krustyburger theme, following a locations format. Krusty = Krustyburger, Apu = Kwik-E-Mart, Moe = Moe's Tavern, CBG = Android's Dungeon etc. I can't see an autograph line, too similar to the showbiz/celebrity theme of season 10.

They're seriously continuing the head packaging? Come on, that's stupid. I'll expect they'll release a standard boxset as well, with a "theme" to it.

At freaking last a date! I'm disappointed though because it means no Season 12 until next year. I was hoping for Season 12 this year as well...

Probably will be earlier in the year though. You think this will change the way they do the release dates now? Like instead of summer winter, it might be something different?

i'd say a febuary/march release for season 12

Difference : 4 months

it's only, that there was and still is a long waiting time between season 10 and the release of season 11, so can only hope that it will be different for season 12

The standard box art for The Complete Eleventh Season has been revealed online for the first time by Australian retailer JB HIFI. The image shows the new style of standard packaging -- a clear slipcase with the number '11' written on it, encasing a standard cardboard box featuring Homer.

This 'Homer' box may contradict yesterdays announcement of a Krusty head box. That is still assumed to be the plan for the limited edition box, but as you can see, standard and limited edition boxes appear to no longer share the same character. We'd expect Marge, Maggie, Lisa, and Bart on the standard boxes for seasons 12, 13, 14, and 15 respectively.

That means they've stopped doing new art for the DVD's and it's just going to be photoshopped stock artwork from now on. That's kind of a shame.

Sorry for my skepticism, but I don't think that's official. It doesn't make sense that there would be a Krusty head box, and then a Homer standard box. All of the other "Head" boxes featured the same character

Over a year of waiting and that's the best they could come up with? The spine's won't match! The quality of this artwork matches the quality of the season so maybe they matched the brief perfectly at least...
