Its nice, but actually kind of boring. Nothing in the background. Yes, there is that white light, but really not a background thing. Its not bad, its just lacking some extra pop.

nobody has said it is real. i do not think it is a fake. i think what we're going to see is a jumbled mess of packaging, with the homer one being exclusive to region 4.

Not only do the light rays get blurrier under the title, but on the spine, the title is upside-down.

I highly doubt this cover's legitimacy.

The spine thing is understandable. For some reason the South Park DVDs here also have upside down spines, and it's the most annoying thing ever. EVER

if we're going to question the covers legitimacy, can anyone think of ever seeing that image of krusty the clown before? i assumed its original artwork, but i'm a bit out of the loop. anyone?

I've noticed that a "Hohn Swartzwelder" is listed on the Kill The Alligator and Run commentary and there's a "Barney Gumbres" listed on the Days of Wine and Doh'ses commentary....

Is it correct? I mean the errors (mainly spelling) don't exactly bring my hopes up

It is from Fox, got the same one another way. Interestingly, many commentaries also included "Male". Whether it means that there is an additional person they didn't identify or if it's just some mistake, I don't know.

That looks ok but the blue could be a bit more vibrant. The drawing of Homer reminds me of when tv guide did this

Would be good if they had just a different character on each set, so that the DVDs end up looking a bit like that.

Also, why is it that the limited edition ones always have a black spine? Why can't they be the same color as the mormal DVDs?

And with season 6-9, the slipcases weren't thick enought for the heads, so they bulged and didn't fit properly on the shelf, and they weren't tall enough to match with other dvds.

Yet for season 10, the slipcase was as tall as a normal dvd, and thick enough to contain the head, so when on a shelf next to other dvds, it fits in. Why didn't they do this with all the DVDs?

^Yeah, that annoyed me as well. Season 10's spine was way taller than Season's 6-9. I wish they were consistent.

Yeah, it would, but not if all the cases were like the season 10 one, then you wouldn't be able to see the yellow plastic when it's on the shelf and everything would be fine, but noooooooo.

The black spines would annoy me as I like having a different colour scheme for each season.
