    Creature Comforts

It's going to be on tonight @ 8 PM on CBS-just thought I'd put up a message board for this shown (seen it on BBC America).

I really liked Chicken Run and the Wallace and Gromit film that came out two years ago, so I'll definitely try to catch this. This reminds me that I should try catching some of the other Wallace and Gromit shorts that have been released on DVD.

I completely don't get what this show is supposed to be about. CBS did a really shitty job advertising it. They showed a bunch of clips of old people talking about stuff, and then some short animated things on the commercials. What exactly is the format?

People on the street are interviewed about unrelated concepts, and then they animate the sound recorded to claymation animals to make them seem as if they are talking about something else.

It’s a cleaver format but I think its run its course and its starting to get a little stale.

Original British series was great. I'm certainly interested in seeing the American version but I don't see it lasting, it's more of a novelty than anything else.

So, it's an Americanized version of the Nick Park show?

I thought there was something off about it when I was watching it Monday.

I watched this last night, and I thought it was pretty funny. I doubt it's going to last very long, and I'm sure it'll get old after a while, but for now it's an interesting summer diversion from the lack of any new episodes of anything else.

Saw it and thought it was funny. But I think it won't last too long either because it'll take too long to make the episodes or it'll cost too much (similar to what happened to Father of the Pride)

I loved the clay animated talking Autos Parks did for those Chevron adds, I would've liked to seen a Nick Parks Movie featuring them, but no chance of that happening because of the Pixar movie "Cars" that came out last year. Your general audience type wouldn't/couldn't tell the difference between the two.
A shame really, I think Parks Cars have a better look about them. (Parked Cars??)

I caught the most recent episode and thought it was pretty funny. Nothing spectacular, but a pretty amusing way to spend half an hour.

So, it's been cancelled. And the 4 remaining episodes won't air.

Did anyone not see this coming?

Doesn't surprise me at all. Shows like this one never last more than a few weeks.
