ordered the DVD somewhat last week. really looking forward to seeing some new episodes on it. the only place i've seen them is at either gruber's house or online so it will be great to have all the episodes to watch on tv.

another idea for a group description would be "join now and recieve free, sat test score displaying t-shirts!" could probably make it a little more interesting than that. that one is just a rough suggestion.

^A little hard to get the reference.

Great Sexpectations is a good episode, mainly for the Toby and Kevin stuff, but still not one of my favorites. "Daddy! I'm riding a bike all by mysel--" (Toby knocks him off angrily and starts riding the bike).

One of the things I love so much about this show is how there are so many great characters. When I ever think about picking a favorite character, there are too many characters that spring to mind. Andy, Kevin, Jim, Posey, Gus & Wally, Toby, George...

I really, really want to watch this. This is like the one-millionth show I have wanted to watched and said I would watched (Freaks and Geeks, Space Ghost), but I always get addicted to crap like Hell's Kitchen. Weak...

Are they playing episodes any stations?

They sometimes play them on Adult Swim I think. They haven't done it for a while where I live though.

EDIT: Also, if we are going to make a MH krew, we need something for our stars. I was thinking... or We might have to make them a little smaller though.

Love the stogey ones. Republican vampire could do with some resizing, i agree.
Some krews have multiple stars depending on post count. If we do this we shouldn't have too many though i suggest the faces on this page http://www.msnhill.com/

Also does anyone know any good (well, any at all really) mission hill sites besides MsnHill and Missionhill.tripod?

I'd like to have Gus in his space suit as the stars

the picture of kevin there would certainly make awsome stars. if you want anymore info on sites for mission hill, i dont know of any official ones apart from the two you mentioned, but have you tried looking for info on things like imdb? they should have some decent info on there.

It took me a while, at least two years after its Adult Swim premiere before I discovered this show.

It's another in a long line of animated sitcoms that were never given a fair chance. (How/why did WB get into making animated sitcoms in the first place?)

Before you get carried away with "what stars should we have" and crap like that, you should actually consider whether the admins will allow the krew to be created...

I don't see why they wouldn't allow it.

My point still stands; you should see whether you're allowed the krew before bothering about anything else.

might wanna wait a little while though. remember, we only started considering a krew somewhat 2 weeks ago.

  21. #81

Yes i've heard of some sort of special krew request time.

Let's talk about the show now rather than the krew which we can get back to

How about R&R, Pilot (The douchebag aspect).

The next person to R&R can do Great sexpectations and the next can Porno for Pyro and so on in order.

    I'd give The douchebeg aspect a A

i'd definetly give porno for pyro an A+

one of my favourite episodes and also one of my first.

I wonder how much of this show was based on Bill and Josh's life, or elements of it.

Andy vs. the Real World- A-
A good episode but not funny enough to be great.

  26. #86

One bang fot two brothers, nice concept. Good at the end when she has the visor on so you don't know who she's talking to.

Kevin vs. the SAT- I liked it the first time but the second time I didn't like it as much. B

How to get head in buisness without really trying. The comic strip bits are funny and ron chasing andy with the knife was good too but definately not my favourite episode. Seemed a bit like Andy Vs. The Real World with the whole consept of andy "selling out".

    The Douchebag Aspect-A
Introduces you to the characters really well, and although at the start the humour seems kinda forced-seeing as you don't know the characters and stuff-it really kicks off when kevin starts trying to be cool. Great episode, all in all.
    Great Sexpectations-B+
Nice episode, I liked the over-enthustiac parent's group, that was hilarious. Funny episode, and a sweet ending between Andy and Kevin.
    Porno for Pyro-A+
Really hilarious episode. I loved Andy's guilt and his ridicualous euphemisms like "manipulating myself"etc. I also thought the subplot was very funny too.
    Andy Vs. The Real World-A
really funny satire of reality t.v. and youth culture in general. I loved Andy's transformation from actual rebel to pretend, corporate rebel. This episode actually had a very interesting character arc which is a great achievment for a series that far into it's run.
    One Bang for Two Brothers-A+
Brilliant episode. Fantastic characterisation, and had me laughing from start to finish. Also love the bizarre yet hilarious subplot.
How to get Head in Business without really Trying-B+
Maybe not ehy best episode, but Ron's debauchery is hilarious.
    Kevin Vs. the SAT-B-
An allright episode with good characterisation, but not all that memorable.
    More to come.
Gee, sorry to make such along post, but I feel kinda bad for not posting on the thread I started. Kinda like an estranged father who didn't realise his son is now an adult.
Oh please, this is senseless destruction, with none of my usual social commentary
    -Bart Simpson

We can't bust heads like we used to, but we have our ways. One of them is to tell 'em stories that don't go anywhere.Like the time I caught the ferry to Shelbyville? I needed a new heel for m'shoe. So I decided to go to Morganville, which is what we called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt-which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days nickels had pictures of bumblebees on them. "Gimme five bees for a quarter,"you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah. The important thing was I had an onion tied to my belt-which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because of the war. All you could get was those big yellow ones....
