Simpsons Website Updates

just a quick explanation regarding the lack of updates on tsc.
i can't connect to the site, or to the host's website (lucidnet), via my browser or ftp.
but, once i can connect, i have some content that i need to upload and i'm sure i'll have some news to catch up on

Lucidnet seems to be working fine for me. I've been connected to the FTP for several hours. Their sever 2, in the past year has been known to randomly not connect for some people...

Even they cant seem to figure it out...

Another two new pages were added today. The first is a guide to trade paperbacks, titled Reprints. The second page is the latest in a series of comic 'capsules'; Itchy and Scratchy Comics.

yeah, gary, tcb doesn't seem to work for me either. it's really annoying, because i have stuff i need to upload!
do you know an e-mail address i can contact them with? i can't access the lucidnet site either :\

Any chance it's your ISP? I had the same thing a few years back with blueyonder & uzipp. I contacted both and it eventually got sorted, I think it was the ISP's fault.

Andy, yes, I do, you can email the owner of Lucidnet or even you can add him to MSN, on danny@lucidnet.com.

Scott - When I made a ticket, thats what they assumed as well. That ticket is still open, it's been fixed for two users who werent able to get on, so Andy PM me your ISP and I'll tell them to get off their ass and fix it for you. :P

Yes, here we are again another little update. I promise updates will frequent more often from now on, I just had a week of exams that literally took over my life. But I'm back now and we can continue. Just a small update today, 5 new grabpics which brings our total up to 305. I was going to have some wallpapers but realised I messed up. Well, it'd take to long to explain this mess up anyway. In other news, Nick Wright from Key to Springfield is helping me set up a very special project for this site, and hopefully you guys will love it. And it's all going very smoothly. Also, don't forget to check out the Stickam channel for Simpsons.fm which is now a series of videos which you can view. Click Bart's skateboard to watch them.

i discovered that a year ago or so, i, um, "procured" the majority of season 17, and in an effort to keep my list on the "up and active," i have that season's ralph appearances and framegrabs/sounds up on TU. the rest should be up by the end of the day.

i'll probably have the framegrabs/sounds/whatever that i don't have up from seasons 4-9 put up on TU sometime this month. oh, and if i can procure season 18, i'll probably sit down and go through those episodes as well.

Framegrabs for the latest episode were added Monday. 9 new images on Wednesday. Weekly review is online today. And daily updates on any Simpsons related online and offline news has been posted all week.

i've been thinking of ways to improve the springfield connection over the summer, and i've stumbled across this cutenews mod for use with the episode guide.
it looks like it'd be a lot of effort to install, but do you think that this would be a good addition to the section? just getting some feedback ^^
