I agree. See, first I tried using the real colors. Since .gif messes up colors, it turned into that^ after I saved it. After seeing that, the black and white looked pretty cool. So then I played around with it, and came up with the complete blak and white version.

I agree with Garret, something does look a little off, but it's by no means a bad grab. Anyone else think that the lack of headgear makes it look odd?

You should try getting rid of those black lines I Love Lisa,and maybe use a better program for coloring.

Will, I like the coloured version better. Probably because the colours are 'lighter' - the b&w one looks too dark imo.

Gary, that's a great pic too. And frickin open KTS already instead of saying things like 'typical KTS quality'. :P

I Love Lisa: the lines look too thick, and you've done a bad export. Don't know what prog you're using but try limiting to 256 colours before saving as a gif. Try some different settings until you find the right one (in PSP, 'optimised octree' is usually best)

I've been having some exporting problems as well (using Flash MX). Whenever I do shadowing I get little dots of the lighter color on the inside edge of the shadow part. I haven't been able to fix it, so I've just been using Ctrl+Printscreen of the original version still in Flash, pasting it onto a Photoshop document, and then cropping it. Maybe the 256 color thing is the problem there too. I'll try adjusting that next time.

Made this from scratch. Is this thread for pictures you've sketched or just ones that you've traced over screenshots?

It's for proper grabpics (ie, not sketches). If you sketched, then traced it used PSP or Flash, then it's a grab.
