Classic. I loved Jessica Lovejoy's character, and really enjoyed Bart's characterization, explaining all he wants to be is a petty thug, and not a criminal. A+

A great, great episode. The entire thing is hilarious, and of course, it has Jessica Lovejoy, who I think is one of the best one time characters that there have been on the show. And The Glasses Joke. That's one of my favorite jokes in the history of the show:
"Have you noticed a change in Bart?"
"New glasses?"
"No...he seemse depressed" <-- not sure if that's right.
"Probably misses his old glasses"
"I'd ask him what's wrong, but I'm afraid of smothering him"
"Yeah, and then we'd get the chair"
"That's not what I meant!"
"It was, Marge, admit it."
deuces on the ride
A: its one of the best episodes ever in my opinion

Just look at my sig. One of the episodes that give my heart spring go :boing:

Bart's Girlfriend eh? (Laura, Greta, or Gina anyone? Wait a minute....)
This is a perfect example of classic episodes that are made out of great plot. Which means, the plot was more showing than humor.
Of course, I'm not saying the humors are crap on this episode... the humors are great too. "Ya used me Skinner! Ya used me!"-Scotchoctoberfest! How about Bart and Jessica eating ice cream infront of the people on treadmill in weight loss center? There are more humorous moments that went in perfectly well...

A great episode, A+. Just out of curiosity, who in their right mind would vote D+?
she didnt exactly read shrek the 3rd, which apparently exists as some sort of companion book for a pixar movie. no, this would probably take several minutes (perhaps 10), and would have ultimately depricated the shrek 3 cinematic experience
she merely looked at the book
she saw it, perhaps in the childrens section of a barnes & noble, registered it in her mind as being in existance, and filed it away for later as the subject for a post on BOOKS YOUVE READ. only she just looked at it. and it was shrek 3
in a way its the saddest post ive ever read
-toxic shock syndrome
Its a great episode, I watched it for the first time in a while a few days ago and really enjoyed it. Its great to watch an episode you dont remember too well from the classic era.
The glasses joke is genius, pure genius. Jessica Lovejoy a great character with great voice acting from Meryl Streep. Very seductive.
A great episode. Good to relive.

We got no food, we got no jobs, our PETS HEADS ARE FALLING OFF!

This episode was excellent-it had an interesting and engaging storyline in addition to having some hilarious scenes and lines. It also provides us with one of the best insights into Bart's character to date -it very successfully conveys to us that, while he's a naughty rebel, he's not a bad person and he has a genuine conscience and sense of decency
Great episode A+
a really funny episode, especially seeing Bart in this story is entertaining
my favorite scene is the Hannibal Lecter reference at the end of the episode
B
good episode, and you'd would never have known that it was Streep until you read the ending credits. 5/5
too much to love about this - skotchtoberfest, dinner with the lovejoys, bart missing his glasses.. homer thinking marge wants to kill bart..
epic ep.
good episode, A-

Good episode, but I'd probably get sick of it if I saw it too much. B+.

"Look, Marge, you don't know what it's like. I'm the one out there every day putting his ass on the line. And i'm not out of order! You're out of order. The whole freaking system is out of order. You want the truth? You want the truth?! You can't handle the truth! Because when you reach over and put your hand into a pile of goo, that was your best friend's face, you'll know what to do! Forget it, Marge. It's Chinatown!" - Homer's rant.
B+, a very good episode.
Kids, let me tell you about another so-called ``wicked'' guy. He had long hair and some wild ideas. He didn't always do what other people thought was right. And that man's name was...
I forget. But the point is... I forget that, too. Marge, you know what I'm talking about. He used to drive that blue car?
-- Homer's parable of the guy in the blue car, ``Homer the Heretic''
Ralph: I Won! I Won!
Principal Skinner: No Ralph this means you're failing English
Ralph: Me fail English? That's unpossible.
