You could have checked TV.com. The title is "A Smith in the Hand".
It was good. 3.5/5
There has been masturbation references in many FOX programs (even in a recent episode of The Simpsons), but from what I know, this is the only one I can recall where someone was brave enough to make that the main subject (King of the Hill DID have a sex ed episode, but stayed pretty far away from the masturbatory stuff).
Having fallen into it myself (hee-hee), I could truly feel what Stan was going thru. A very funny and at the same time informational episode, the writer(s) were able to tackle a subject that's too often kept in the closet, all the while remaining true to the show's theme. I don't think it was REALLY necessary for them to blur Stan's bottom. Most of the jokes were really funny, and all of the characters had their proper place. The ending was especially hilarious.
American Dad is proving itself is be quite a good show. It's proving that while sticking to its governmental theme, they can still cover more domestic issues as well. Great job.

pretty good, actually. i wrote this show off after the first three horrible episodes, but i've caught the past couple and enjoyed them both. this is surprisingly shaping up to be a decent show. 4/5 for this ep.
Never thought I would say this, but, I actually liked this episode. First one i've seen that actually had a decent plot and was kinda funny. A lot better than all the other episodes I've seen. Hell must've froze over. 4/5
I'm starting to get attached to American Dad. I can't believe it, because the first three episodes really convinced me that it would never happen. This was a quality episode, humor-wise, characterization and story.
Signature.
Excellent and hilarious episode. Just as good as tonight's Family Guy. Masturbation is funny.

For the second time this season, American Dad outdoes Family Guy. Very enjoyable and pretty original (for television). I'm starting to think Seth should just focus on American Dad and give up on Family Guy. Last 2 episodes showed that this show has much more potential for topical and relatable issues, with a tighter focus and more distinctive characters, whereas Family Guy recently has nowhere to go with its premise than random and disjointed storylines. However, Stan's very unpredictable and violent tendencies (like randomly aiming a gun at everyone) is still a bit annoying.

4/5 I thought that when this show came on if they did nnot cancel it right away people would start to like it.

An alright show

Pretty damn good. There were very few jokes that failed to make me laugh.

If any of you remember, I gave this show three chances. The pilot was awful (D-), the second episode was even worse (an unprecedented F), and the third was very bleh (D+). After that, I swore off the show, but recently people have been mentioning that it's been improving, so I decided to give it one more chance.
I'm surprised by how much this improved! A few months ago, this was easily the worst thing on TV. Hateable characters, atrocious gags, horrible political stuff, and just mindless...everything. But now they've seemed to iron out a lot of the kinks--last night, Stan was a fairly understandable character. He didn't ridiculously abuse his power, and his plight made sense. Steve Smith wasn't an ultra-horny, extremely irritating geek that you wanted to punch in the face--rather, it's like they added a splash of Bobby Hill or George-Michael Bluth to him. While he's still a far, far cry from either of those classic characters, I did like how he generally tried to be a good son for his dad, and had a great deal of respect for Stan. Roger is starting to grow on me as well, though Klaus is still pretty worthless.
There were even a decent amount of laughs this time. The masturbation stuff was more tasteful than I expected, and I loved the use of...I forget the name of it...but that dramatic classical piece. It was used when Francine was walking in on Stan. The third act kind of faltered in humor (though I liked the message), but otherwise, a surprisingly decent watch. It certainly wasn't great, but this show has come a LONG way. I may even tune in next week.
3/5 C+

An ok episode 3/5
Really well tackled an issue scarcely reflected upon, and very funny. People called me fools when I stuck by this show early on, but who's laughing now? 4/5
