Terrible just terrible, not only is it totally laugh-free, it completely wastes the idea of re-exploring Marge's painting talent. One of the longest 22 minutes in the show's history

3/5. Very bland. The ending makes me chuckle, though.
Season 25 Ratings
Awful, probably

3.5/5
underrated.
Alot of Marge centred episodes are very forgettable, and this one is no exception. I found much of the episode to be boring, and very few of the jokes worked for me. C - aka 2/5
2/5 I always hated this episode, had a few laughs, but mostly garbage,
I kinda liked it. Go ahead, call me stupid.

2.5/5
Blandest main plot ever, but you have to admit, the subplot with Homer was pretty funny.

I agree

meh.
this episode is a true example of mediocricy...C...it's not memorable enough to go lower.
i liked the homer subplot, despite being stupid. loved his bit about not being able to complain (and my life is so unforfilling!)
probably one of the least funny, most uninspired episodes ever. though bizarrely enough considering it was a scully episode, marge's characterisation is for the most part acceptable and is probably the best bit of the episode. D+
F. One of the worst of season 12.
You can add a poll.

2/5 slack
scuse me if i write bad (the english kick my ass)
4/5 meh

I won't call you stupid, because I kinda agree.Originally Posted by do what donny dont does

Bart: "Please don't call our parents!"
Chief: "I'm afraid I have to for hijinks like these. Hijinks - it's a funny word. Three dotted letters in a row."
Eddie: "Is it hyphenated?"
Chief: "It used to be, back in the good old days, you know. Of course, every generation hyphenates the way it wants to. Then there's *NSYNC! What the hell is that? Jump in any time there, Eddie, these are good topics."
I don't hate it but... meh, baby. Very meh.

I think it isn't a bad one. A bit bland overall and not very memorable, but still a 3/5.

Poor episode. 2/5
I thought it was ok, nothing great though. Liked the joke "what's wrong with my sundaes?"
3/5
i think they story wasn't that good, but some good gags.
In general not really an episode you have to see again.
2.5/5
I also liked the gag "wait where's your blue shirt" if anyone's seen the old ullman simpsons where Bart had a blue shirt that seemed to have been switched to orange.

I used to think that this episode was ok but after re-evaluating it especially the ending it has become a whole ball of nothing.
o0o0o0o0o0o0o wow thats clever. I never laughed at that part but now its funny. thanx!!

Very underrated, just watched it again for the first time in years and it made me laugh as much if not slightly more than most of the recent episodes we've been getting. Marge's characterization was fine throughout, and although Homer's behaviour at the rodeo was a bit annoying, i felt this was a fine, fine episode.
Although the bed crushing joke and the sundae joke(s) were awful.

Homer B-plot saves what would otherwise be as bad as some of Season 11's stuff. Of course, the more recent "Caged Bird" episode follows a somewhat similar plot, but takes a dump on this in terms of quality.
2/5
Season 21:
Homer the Whopper: C, Bart Gets a Z: C+, The Great Wife Hope: B-, Treehouse of Horror XX: B, The Devil Wears Nada: C-, Pranks & Greens: C, Rednecks & Broomsticks: D+, O Brother, Where Bart Thou?: B, Thursdays With Abie: D, Once Upon a Time in Springfield: C+, Million Dollar Maybe: C-
It was too predictable, and we didn't see enough of the other OFF members. That's okay if you have a good script, but this was very bland. You could see from a mile away that Jack was really a criminal. I'll be very broad (because I don't like getting nit-picky)...it was just boring. The biggest laugh I got was "There's an Air in Space Museum!"

March's quote: "We come to honor Bloody Guts Murphy..."--Timothy Lovejoy
Homer saves this episode from being terrible and Keaton's guest voice isn't bad but there are too many recurring jokes in this episode and it ends up just being bad writing.

We got no food, we got no jobs, our PETS HEADS ARE FALLING OFF!

i'm sorry, i watched it for the time today, it was bloody terrible... 2/5
