Yeah, that's what they did. I wrote an email to them, and apparently the issue had to be changed at the last minute. They'll be printing it after the next Treehouse of Horror issue.Originally Posted by Solid Snake

Has anyone seen this new 'Simpsons Treasure Trove' yet?
Season 25 Ratings
Awful, probably

Yeah, issue #2 has just been released in the UK and Ireland.Originally Posted by Nameless
I have. I rather like the ink they use, as it is less easy for the comics to be damaged (an old problem I used to have).Originally Posted by Nameless
Finally picked up the new releases.
#133 was a good way to finish the story. IMO it's Costanza's best artwork to date (slightly better than #119, more points for Lisa being on model for the entire story, a couple points off for Burns still not looking quite right). The only bit I didn't get was why Dixon wrote the whole bit with Burns escaping inside the truck...he could have simply deleted that and left in the part with Amadopolis breaking through into Homer's cell...in the end the story will have still concluded in the same way. I guess he had to get to his 27 page limit, though.
Bart Simpson #37 is one of the best issues yet, definitely among the top three. The art was great and the story was a lot better than that "Legends of the Bartman Family" back in #17. I agree that Chief Wiggum had a few cute moments (especially when he, Lou and Eddie are cowering to Bartman ["we're scared"]), and I loved the "who would have thought Maggie's voice would have sounded like that" at the end...awesome issue.

Yup, 'twas me. It's US #125. The UK is currently up to US #122 (however, there still has to be US #121 and the Halloween issue out as well, so you'll have it in about five months).Originally Posted by Reverend Lovejoy
I love The Simpsons comics. They should make episodes from them.

Well that's pretty stupid.Originally Posted by cars01

I think it's a great idea, because these comics are usually enjoyable, and the writers won't have to worry if they run out of plots.
Go back a couple pages and find my post; it'd never happen. The people at Bongo Comics Group have already said that they want both the show and the comics to have fresh stories, as in they will never copy a storyline directly from the show, and that the show would never turn a comic book into an episode.Originally Posted by starman-the-iconoclast
Plus, the producers of the show seem to have a dislike of the comics anyway; in Behind the Laughter, Marge brings up the weekly comic strip Bongo produced for newspapers, before Bart said they were pretty bad; in Team Homer there is a bin in the Android's Dungeon that says "Return Bongo Comics", and in the commentary for Radioactive Man, Matt mentions how Bongo base their RM comics off certain periods in comic book history, but is ignored and the topic of the commentary is immediately changed.

I've got a sneak preview of the new THOH comic on my site, I think it looks pretty cool (love Homers' cry of "aaah the guy from Moulin Rouge").

Ha ha awesome. They're making fun of They Live, Jaws, X-men and Ghostbusters in one issue
The artwork looks good to. A huge improvement from last year's THOH comic.
Yeah, looks like a huge improvement over last year's (although I didn't think last year's was terrible).
The stories look really creative, too. Looks like it could be the best issue in a while.

Looks great. But I still Dont own issue 11 and 12.

wow that looks great l like art a lot and story's look good
There's some nice artwork there. But, dear God, MORE CBG?![]()
Yeah, same here. The artwork on the Jaws parody looks very impressive.Originally Posted by Alpha

Just found out via e-mail that the Comic Gallery in Escondido is closing.
The San Diego (Balboa Ave.) store will remain open.
You can get your Simpsons Comics at Sky High Comics in San Marcos.
You should feel lucky; CBG's only appearance between US #122 and US #133 is one panel in #130, and a page in #132; and both are relevant to the plot...the first appearance is because he's browsing eBuy, where Marge is selling things, and the second is to show the new Mr. Burns' "generosity".Originally Posted by Reverend Lovejoy
Well, that's a relief. That seriously is some nice artwork, though.

Does the Radioactive Man 80 Page Collosal have any new material? Or is all just a compilation of the first 6 issues of Volume #1?
Also, just read Simpsons Comics and Stories #1. Although the artwork wasn't the best I've seen, I really enjoyed the story of El Barto, especially the ending.
Everything in it is new material; as of yet there are no compilations featuring any issue of Radioactive Man.Originally Posted by AchWillie

today i want to my local comic book shop, to pick up a copy of "a brand new burns part 2" but they dint have copy's of it. But i found a copy simpsons comics #19 and it was not a used. it was in the new comics section. and he slod it to me for $2.25 the price simpsons comic used to be sold for.

I got #134 (I think) yesterday. It's the one with Homer and the Whale. It was pretty good, though it seemed a little far fetched. But that didn't matter, I enjoyed it. I really like the cover art as well. B
Que Database voice: Well technically Radioactive Man #711, the 7-11 issue, is the first Radioactive Man compilation as it features three reprints from past issues.Originally Posted by Ivan
By the way, THOH #13 is an excellent cover! Also, I can't wait for the next Super Spectacular! When Bongos Collide was my favorite moment in Simpsons Comics history and I can't wait for more crossover chaos... this time with the Superior Squadron!
UP AND ATOM!
Yeah, but remember that issue isn't available outside the United States; IMO it doesn't really count.Originally Posted by Captain Squid
