They should really re-print these issues in paper back.

    Itchy & Scratchy 1,2,3,
    BartMan 4,5,6,
The rare Comics & Stories issue
Simpsons 62 I just don't get why they skipped it, 70-to now expect 79 that was already done
They should also re-print the feature 'The Bongos that Time forgot' from 32 & 35.
Who thinks they should do more then one re-print a year?

yeh, theyve got too far behind. the issues used to be in a reprint about a year after their original release, but you have to remember they've gone monthly now so theyve got a bit behind in it. i expect #70 and #76 (and possibly #81) will be left out of trade paperbacks and be released (along with #62) in a book like holiday humdinger...possibly about the simpsons 'fantasy' comics?

I agree. I think it's odd they haven't done it allready.

    yep

but thats only for the simpsons TPBs. there are also extra ones like bart simpson TPBs, futurama TPB's, and other ones. This year there are going to be four so far:

Simpsons Comics Jam-Packed Jamboree TPB (Feb / April with Simpsons #64-#69)

Big Bouncy Book of Bart Simpson TPB (May with Bart Simpson #17-#20)

Futurama / Simpsons Infinitely Secret Crossover Crisis TPB (June with both parts of both crossovers, plus I expect Simpsons #87 will be too, as it is a tie-in with the first crossover)

Futurama: The Time Bender Trilogy TPB (July with Futurama #16-#19)

I don't know whether this has been posted before, but Amazon have listed another Halloween themed Comic Book Collection, for release in the UK on 18th September. Here's the cover:

Woah that's really cool! That means there is at least five trade paperbacks out this year! I recently had the chance to interview Ian Boothby, author of some Simpsons Comics. The interview is available at http://thesimpsonssector.tripod.com/id59.html

If it's being released in the UK on the 18th of September, when's it being released in the US?

I'm looking forward to Big Bouncy Book of Bart Simpson. It has issues #17 to #20. We've just got #18 in Australia, but I'm not buying it or #19 or #20 in hope it will come out here the same month as the US

Looks like the usual piece of wacky crap using one-timers even worse than the Jean era we have come to expect from Simpsons Comics.

Bart Simpson #29 is out this week:
Springfield’s merry mischief-maker, Bart Simpson, switches places with Ralph Wiggum on "Take Your Son To Work Day" with surprising and potentially life- threatening results. Then, Bart gets a new roommate when he moves into the retirement home with Grampa. Also, Bart and Nelson start their own pirate radio station, and it is not long before radio talk show host Birch Barlow’s ratings begin to plummet, prompting a "no holds barred" battle over the airwaves.

There is also a one-page "Worker and Parasite" story by Jesse McCann. (For those who don't know, Worker and Parasite was an overseas version of Itchy and Scratchy in "Krusty Gets Kancelled").

    This issue looks like fun.

Who here thinks that when #100 gets reprinted they also reprint the Comics & Stories Issue & the two features "The Bongos That Time Forgot" from 32 & 35 in the same reprint?

Well here's all the comics that havent been reprinted (apart from simpsons comics):

    Itchy and Scratchy 1, 2, 3
    Bartman 4, 5, 6
    Radioactive Man series one 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
    Radioactive Man series two 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
    Simpsons Comics and Stories
    Krusty Comics 1, 2, 3

I havent said Futurama because thats still an active series, as is Bart Simpson.
Short stories not included in the trade paperbacks include:

    Bongos Time forgot
    More Bongos that time forgot
    kent's state (simpsons 59)
    asphalt bungle (simpsons 61)

    It could be:

    Bongos That Time Forgot
    Lo, There Shall Come...A Bartman
    Maggie's excellent Adventure
    Asphalt Bungle
Bring Me the Head of El Barto
    Kent's State
    Simpsons Comics #100
    More Bongos That Time Forgot
and possibly more editorials a la Simpsons Comics Royale

The could also do the first Radioactive Man series in one book.
The first 6 of RM series two in another.
The last three RM + first two/three super spectaculars
Itchy and scratchy 1-3, bartman 4-6

dont know about Krusty comics. they suck anyway.

I doubt they reprint #100, since it was mostly all reprints itself-- a sort of "clip show" (not an official Bongo answer, just my opinion.)

Ivan, if you are reading--I tried to send you a private message to tell you it's okay for you to print the interview on your website, (but it said you couldn't accept it) Just make sure you spellcheck it--I'm a terrible speller! =o)

    It's all fixed now .

For those interested, my interview with Jesse is at http://thesimpsonssector.tripod.com//id53.html. Feedback on it would also be greatly appreciated .

Oh, wow, CBG in a Simpsons Comic again, that's unusual. [end sarcasm]

The FCBD Bongo book was the best of the lot this year!

Donald Duck and Scott Pilgrim were both very good, but the Bongo sampler outclassed all the other offerings, IMO. Much better than last years.

    Nice work, Bongo Comics!
