Amazon.co.uk are listing "The Big Bouncy Book Of Bart Simpson," as another new UK comic collection, released on 26th May 2006.
These are the stories included:
"Masked marauder Bartman and his sidekick Houseroy take on the Riddling Robber in "Legends of the Bartman Family"; Homer's early days of mis-spent youth are revisited in "The Special Kid"; double-agents and super-spies abound in "Secret Agent, Man"; Bart's Farm-Aterium reminds Homer of his own get-rich schemes in "The Great Springfield Donut War!"; Bart and Milhouse make the ultimate zombie movie in "Movie Mayhem"; and gross out to a disgusting Scoff-A-Thon in "Are You Gonna Eat That?""
Man, I love that issue, but my comic's missing it's cover now. Glad to see it coming in hardbackOriginally Posted by Simpsons Forever!

Does anyone know if they are making any new graphic novels soon? I think they stop in the 60s so far.

Thanks.
I would freak out if they skipped/stopped releasing EVERY SINGLE STORY in GN form.
Because I'm obsessive.
Here's my opnions on #114:Originally Posted by Dr. Bartley

As For the Maggie and Moe story, I loved thae artwork in rhis one and it was fun to se the return of some one-time appearing characters(Molloy, Dr. Collosus and Grandma van houten) but the story itself reminded of one of those awful spin-off attempts from one of the previous issues.
There sure were a lot more advertisments than usual in this issue. And were the heck is Junk Mail?
I enjoyed this issue. Reminds me of the#78.
I've now got the Jam Packed Jamboree, and I think it's pretty good.
Sounds good. Cant wait to get it Friday.
hey hey love simpsons comics #113, and HEY thats my letter in the junk mail page!
sorry mr. morrison, you said earlier about how the the art in the Simpsons comics are always up to the standard, but I would like to disagree. There is one artist that I am not very fond of, but with these images you should know who they are.

btw i'll take these pictures off if you would like me to.
i mean look at bart's eyes in the first picture...one of them is basically hanging off the side of his head, then the one of mr. burns...well in all this artist's issue (except for their first)...they havent drawn his teeth...and how is he meant to look evil like hes supposed to without teeth
I thought they stopped with Junk Mail, did they bring it back again?Originally Posted by ivan_simpsons

No its still gone. They got rid of junk mail in #114 i think.
Anyone know why?Originally Posted by The Undertaker
The only possible reason I can think of for them to get rid of Junk Mail is to make way for the stupid full page adverts which now seem to be cropping up throughout the stories. Up until January, adverts were designated to the end of stories or the inside covers but now they seem to be sandwiched in between the story.
Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I'm considering to cancel my subscripsion.Originally Posted by david195
BTW, does anyone else miss how Matt Groening was credited? Now it's just "Matt Groening presents" while in the earlier issues he was credited as something connected with the story.

The style isn't necessarily bad, it's just slightly different from the regular one we are use to seeing. I have to admit though I do prefer it when the comic does have the exact style that we are used to seeing (basically the one that is always used on the covers) because for whatever reason it just makes it funnier. But the artist is not a bad artist.
I just got #115 I enjoyed it. One of my favorite issues ive ever read
i dont think its much so that bart's eye is hanging out the side of his face, but it looks more like the artist didnt draw his "eyebrow" and the side of his head in the correct place.I don't see anything wrong with Bart's eyes. one of the eyes traditionally does hang from the side of the head in the Simpson's style, just look at Homers eyes in you avatar. i think it's one of the best issues in a very long timeI just got #115 I enjoyed it. One of my favorite issues ive ever read
Also, did anyone else find it disturbing that Troy McClure was a main character in the story of #112. I mean, while he is a great character I did think it was disturbing that after seven years of retirement after Phil Hartman died...it was just...weird that Troy was back...and that he 'talked' in the comics.
I dont think it was weird. Hes always been present in the comics as a backround charecter and says one line once and a while. Even in the TV series he still present as a backround charecter but doesnt speak.
actually while he USED to be a background character both he and Lionel Hutz have not been seen for the last few seasons because they have officially been retired. In fact, the last comic book that had Troy in it before this one (mistake me if i'm wrong), was #36 "The Geek Shall Inherit The Earth" from way back in 1998.
I think they just used Troy because he is the only charecter that can put together a spinoff show comic book
that would make sense, i suppose it would be strange if they used kent brockman or someone instead (you wouldnt be able to use kent anyway because he's in the simpsons family smile-time bit)
i dont have to get next month's issue (#113) because i got the US version about two months ago (great issue btw)
