He he, nice. Am I the only one who gets blank when I try to enlarge the image?
Yeah, I was about to mention that it looked like a t-shirt design that some douchebag would buy at Target, next to the "Island Paradise I've Never Actually Been To" and the poseur Led Zeppelin tees. Awesome, brah.

Well, if you click the image, it'll enlarge it within the window, and you'll how to scroll down a lot to see it. The best way to go would be to click the actual filename link underneath the thumbnail, and open it in your image viewer application.Originally Posted by Gorak

I love that promo (even if it is reused). It would look great as a poster.
Thanks, Binky.
At least they're not totally lazy, they tweaked the design a little, I was offered a shirt like this many years ago (the shirt says 1998) and I noticed a few minor changes in the names, "Imbecilis" changed to "Imbecilus" for instance, and the facial expressions have been changed a little too.
That's a great drawing by the way, it's not bad that they reuse if it fits the episode.

awesome promo. i think i prefer it to the t-shirt design somehow.

Awful, probably
Great promo. Makes me anticipate the episode even more.
Great promo! Makes me want to see the episode that much more.
deuces on the ride
Well that's a blast from the past! I bought that shirt just about 10 years ago!
Signature.

And here's the artwork for "Marge and Homer Turn a Couple Play"

That's...different. I like the art, but it really gives me the feeling that Homer and Fiona are "getting together."![]()
"There's a couple of things they don't teach you in Harvard Business School. One is how to cope with defeat; the other is how to handle a shotgun. I'm going to do both right now."
^ now that would suck, and if it did happen, it would be a serious Simpsons low point. I doubt that it will happen, though.
probably won't happen...likely to be just a simple misunderstanding.Originally Posted by E-I-E-I-Moe

Marge and Homer Turn A Couple Play looks awful - this is a strong contender with The Bonfire of the Manatees for worst of the season - especially if the promo is anything to go by.
Excellent artwork on that promo card.Originally Posted by Binky

Anyway we know that Homer and erm Woman aren't going to get together, so why are people speculating they are. And even if they ended up living together for whatever reason their not going to have sex.
I like the promo card, it plays into a theory I have on of how this espoide might play out. After Buck catches Homer giving Fiona a post-show neck massage, Buck and Fiona separate. Homer feels responsible for the break up and invites Fiona to stay with them. As we all know Marge has a jealous streak when it comes to Homer around other women.
Examples
BABF18 - It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Marge
8F19 - Colonel Homer
Marge is not happy have another woman living in her house. This results in a marital rift between Homer and Marge.
It’ll be interesting to see how close I am. However there is one thing about this episode that has been bothering me. There is another possible play on the theme double play. Could this turn out to be a two-part episode. In which case we would have to wait until the start of the fall season before Homer and Marge get back together. I think that would be awful.
But we've been told the neck massage causes both couples to seperate.
So unless the promo packs are lying we know your wrong.
no...this is a different thing altogether to who shot mr. burns.Originally Posted by Nick Yost

No the promo packs only indicated that the neck massage causes a sequence of events that leads to both couples separating. However not all of them use the word separating. Some simply say marital ill.Originally Posted by Homer_Thompson

Its only a theory and I hope you're right about this not being a two parter.Originally Posted by Nameless
The description Wikipedia put up is the quick one from SNPP. In the official description, it says the neck massage leads to both couples seperating, which means that it's more likely than not that Marge and Buck walk in on them, there's a misunderstanding, and both couples seperate.
anyway, I've always thought it would at least be a new twist on the marge/homer relationship problem episodes if homer got angry at marge instead of vice-versa.
probably not, though.
I totally disagree with that interpretation. The description only indicates Buck walks in. If both Buck and Marge walk in then I would think the description would say so.Originally Posted by Nameless
Could you point me to a place where it says that both Buck and Marge walk in.
It doesn't say that, but it says
which implies that both couples separate as a result of the neck massage.until Buck catches Homer giving Fiona a post-show neck massage, which results in both couples separating.
And I doubt very much it would be a two parter. It would be a horrible thing to do anyway, and I'm sure we would have heard about it by now.
I agree a two part would be a horrible thing and you’re probably right we would have heard about that by now. However, I’m not convinced that both couples separate as a direct result of the neck massage. It just doesn’t sound right to me. It seems out of character.Originally Posted by Veryjammy
it's barely different to some of the other relationship episodes...a simple misunderstanding possibly with homer making things worse by trying to explain himself is what it's likely to be.
If the neck massage only causes a chain of events that results in them seperating then it would say what the chain of events are, the neck massage would be considerd quite arbitary to what actually causes them to split up. Plus if they write a sequnce of events that happen after the massage, it would really eat into the episodes time.
Although that said it wouldn't be suprise me if they broke up with only 2 minutes spent on how the conflict is settled.

al that info looks pretty damn good. the season finale sounds great.
