KKBB does sound good indeed, and today being the day I just found out about the ep, I saw a newspaper articale talking about KKB on DVD!
Hopefully has a solid plot standing on killer jokes.

Yeah, it sounds great. Infact, for me this is the most anticipated episode of the Season so far, alongside Marge's Son Poisoning. As I said before, I'm quite sure this ones written by J. Stewert Burns, which makes it even more exciting.
KKBB sounds better than I expected. And I love that title Please Homer Don't Hammer 'Em.

Looking forward to KKBB - sounds great!
This doesn't really mean anything, but just something I've noticed is they've been using characters' names in episode titles a lot lately (in fact, it's helpful to include the name of the episode's main focus):
Milhouse of Sand and Fog
Marge's Son Poisoning
See Homer Run
The Italian Bob
Homer's Paternity Coot
Bart Has Two Mommies
Homer Simpson, This Is Your Wife
Million Dollar Abie
The Mook, the Chef, the Wife, and Her Homer
Homer and Marge Turn a Couple Play
Moe'n'a Lisa
Regarding Margie (?)
Also, Zap2it should tell us in the next day or two what's on schedule for April 16, if anything. Today it provides episode info up to Friday, April 14 for me.

+1 for me. Tonight's episode was leagues better than the description led you all to predict.Originally Posted by Tomacco

Probably because to assume makes an ass out of u and me. Quite fitting here...
Actually, the episode has yet to air where I live, so I'll see if it applies.

Oops, I made a thread on that, didn't know the info was already here. As an aside, the 400th episode is planned for 20th May 2007.
I doubt there'll be a sixth new episode in a row, especially seeing as it's Easter Sunday on the 16th.

Looks like we aren't going to be getting double episodes in May this year. According to this schedule from central time zone Fox affiliate KASA, there's going to be an episode of The Simpsons at 7 (almost certainly a rerun), followed by a new KotH, Simpsons, Family Guy, and American Dad for the first two weeks of May.
Now since KotH, Malcolm, and American Dad all air their finales on May 14, that leaves room open for possible double Simpsons episodes on the 21st, which is likely when the season finale will air. Interesting also that Family Guy will probably have two new episodes on May 7.
Oh, and also, it looks like Free Ride's season finale is on April 9, and American Dad returns on April 16. And The War at Home's finale is on April 30.
So from all of this information, I predict that the remaining schedule for The Simpsons will be something like this:
MARCH 26 - Homer Simpson, This Is Your Wife
APRIL 2 - Million Dollar Abie
APRIL 9 - Kiss Kiss, Bang Bangalore
APRIL 16 - Rerun
APRIL 23 - Rerun
APRIL 30 - Girls Just Want to Have Sums
MAY 7 - The Wettest Stories Ever Told
MAY 14 - The Monkey Suit
MAY 21 - Regarding Margie and The Mook, the Chef, the Wife, and Her Homer
Hey, we might even get a 23 episode season - to catch up with the holdovers!

Does that work with the idea it'll be a 22 or 23 episode season? I think it'll be a 23 episode season (it should be after last season), in which case the 14th and 21st May will be doubles, with possibly Jazzy and The Pussycats as the last episode, as it sounds like a good episode to use as a finale. Also, didn't RMIII say The Monkey Suit is a Season 18 episode? Maybe we've yet to hear of an episode in S17? But, overall, I agree with your prediction.

Why would those days have double episodes? The way I've worked it out in my post comes out to exactly 23 episodes.Originally Posted by Simpsons Forever!
Nope, you've only accounted for a 22 episode season there. For it to be 23, Homer and Marge Turn a Couple Play would have to air too.
Also, why would Girls Just Want to Have Sums air before The Wettest Stories Ever Told too? The latter is HABF11, which should come straight after Kiss Kiss, Bang Bangalore unless they air out of production order.

Oh, you're right. Well, I guess it probably will be a regular 22 episode season then. There's probably a very slim chance it'll be 23. That would mean there'd have to be a new episode on April 23, and I just don't see that happening. Fox would've started promoting a "non-stop season" a weeks ago if that was the case.
As for May 7 and 14, I seriously doubt they're going to put a new Simpsons episode at 7 pm. Oh, and the reason why I'm predicting a new episode on April 30 is because the season finale of "The War at Home" airs then. Fox will likely want to combine that with new episodes of Simpsons, Family Guy, and American Dad.
What makes you say that? The order they were submitted to in the copyright database is the other way around (as I have it listed on the first page of this thread), and usually that order corresponds to the order of production. Also, why would Girls Just Want to Have Sums air before The Wettest Stories Ever Told too? The latter is HABF11, which should come straight after Kiss Kiss, Bang Bangalore unless they air out of production order.
Those production drawings that were in this thread (and since removed) showed HABF11 featuring lots of different OFF characters dressed in sailor and other seafaring garb over quite a few images, strongly suggesting that it would be The Wettest Stories Ever Told, and likely the Poseidon Adventure and Mutiny on the Bounty parodies that Al Jean mentioned in an interview a while back. It just makes sense. And the couple of drawings with HABF12 written on them had Lisa and Skinner too as I recall, suggesting that they are likely the other way around. Also, I thought both entries were discovered at the database on the same day anyway?Originally Posted by Binky

Yes, but every entry has a registration number, which is assigned chronologically. I don't remember the production drawings exactly, but either way, I'll just leave it as it is (notice that I specify the production codes haven't been confirmed for those 4 episodes in the post) until they're actually announced.Originally Posted by TerrorK

No new Simpsons on Easter Sunday 16th April. Surprise, surprise, GABF22 The Last Of The Red Hat Mamas is being repeated. Zap2it.

Ha, you know, I completely forgot that date in my prediction a few posts ago.
I wonder when season eighteen will start. Probably not 'til early November, or around then.
she didnt exactly read shrek the 3rd, which apparently exists as some sort of companion book for a pixar movie. no, this would probably take several minutes (perhaps 10), and would have ultimately depricated the shrek 3 cinematic experience
she merely looked at the book
she saw it, perhaps in the childrens section of a barnes & noble, registered it in her mind as being in existance, and filed it away for later as the subject for a post on BOOKS YOUVE READ. only she just looked at it. and it was shrek 3
in a way its the saddest post ive ever read
-toxic shock syndrome
Why does the THOH always air in november now?
It's pre-empted by the world series, but I don't think Fox has the rights to that anymore so it should be back to October next season.
why am i even boarding
i should be passing out right now
this laptop has very comfortable keys
this is a sursprisingly eloquent post
That’s a shame because after KKB there are only around six episodes left till the end of the season and I think they should do what they did towards the end of season 16 and show double new episodes every Sunday so viewers keep an interest in the show.
And, is it me or do the episodes which have yet to be shown this season sound slightly weak? I know we haven’t had any of the plots revealed yet but after the recent good run of episodes I was hoping season 17 would continue and end on a high. Perhaps I will have to wait for further info.
Am I the only one that prefers one episode a week? I think it's more fun to have more Sundays with something to look forward to than to have lots of Sundays without anything and then have to sit for an hour every Sunday in May because they have to cram it all in.
Are you serious about Fox losing the rights to the World Series? That would...rock.
Yes that would be great, I don't like baseball.
yes! i am glad someone said that they enjoy waiting for it, i used to love how i knew there would be 1 new simpsons per week and be able to sit on the couch at that time and get my laugh session for a week, and with only 1 episode not cramming too much in so i could still remember parts and have a chat about it with friends. I supoose now it is irrelevant anyway, as they need 2 or more episodes to have enough memorable parts with the decline in quality.
Season 17 seems awsome but i wont get to see it for prb a year.
