Zap2it...so far we know what's airing up to a month from now. And there will not be a clip show. There are definitely episodes that are completed, it's just that Fox is not scheduling new ones. Plus, Al Jean said there would be no more clip shows (am I the only one that remembers this? It was said over a year ago, the same source where we learned about Simpsons Christmas Stories and where Al said he didn't like The Fat and the Furriest and Simpson Safari.).

Ehh well, the only clip show I really liked was 138 (if that even counts) and the Behind the Scenes one.

Can you give me a specific link on that site? I couldn't seem to find anything.

According to Ricky Gervais' website, his episode is going to air on March 26, which is the same date "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bangalore" was set for.

No more clip shows, eh? Well I guess thats good, we have enough clip shows, besides we have reruns and DVD box sets now, making them uneccessary.

This is Your Wife and Kiss Kiss clash eh? Have they ever shown two new episodes in one night? Is that a possibility?

Season 7 for example: Homerpalooza and Summer of 4 Ft. 2 were on the same night.

HABF05 My Fair Laddy is one of my most anticipated episodes of the season, I hope it doesn't disappoint. There are two reasons to think this could well turn out great, those being:

    1. Willie has been one of the most consistently hilarious characters of the Jean era.

    2. It's a musical - The President Wore Pearls (Jean) was a modern day classic, Supercali.... was very solid (Jean & Reiss.)

So we know My Fair Laddy's on the 26th of February and Homer Simpson: This Is Your Wife is on the 26th of March. I'm assuming Kiss Kiss, Bang Bangalore will be a different night. Just because they assumed it would air March 26 half a year ago or so doesn't mean it will. They'll probably show The Seemingly Neverending Story and Bart Has Two Mommies in March, plus maybe another episode. And yes, there have been several double-features. Homerpalooza/Summer of 4 Ft. 2, The Bart of War/Moe Baby Blues, and the last six episodes of season 16 were doubled on three Sundays.

From the looks of it, they might be doing it again this season.

Well it's based on My Fair Lady, which is itself a musical. The movie is about a cockney girl being transformed into a 'proper' speaking and acting lady. And I remember them talking about a song called 'Wouldn't It Be Adequate', which is a take-off of a very famous song from the film called 'Wouldn't It Be Lovely'. So we don't know if it's a full musical episode or if there's just one song in it, but it wouldn't be a great leap to assume so.

I don't know. It sounds interesting but there is something very typical about taking a rude character and turning him into a proper person, not sure she would be able to change Willie, though. I personally loved the movie My Fair Lady, so it could be a good one.

Cool, I wouldnt mind six episodes in three weeks at the end of this season. Could happen since theyve had some large breaks already.

Also right now what is the time and date in the US? How many hours til D'ohwhere?

This was and still is the episode of this season that I'm looking forward to the most. While song and dance episodes aren't always so well-received around here, I like them alot if they are done right (as with Simpsoncalifragilisticexpiala(ANNOYED GRUNT)cious and The President Wore Pearls), and a My Fair Lady parody, even though it's been done before by other shows, points to take-offs on some of my favorite musical tunes. Even if there ends up being no music however, I'm still anticipating this episode quite a bit since it explores a secondary character who doesn't get a whole lot of exposure and sets up a relationship that is seldom seen (as opposed to the many Homer and Marge relationship episodes we've been getting as of recently), so either way it's going to be different and interesting. Creating episodes out of a Simpson family member's relationship with a secondary character has yielded some great episodes lately (Moe Baby Blues, Sleeping with the Enemy), and if this one is done right, we'll have a good thing going here.

I'm getting excited about the my fair lady ep! Willie is hilarious. In the girl who slept to little, I couldnt stop laughing about the Willie scene, where he's killed by his family member.
she didnt exactly read shrek the 3rd, which apparently exists as some sort of companion book for a pixar movie. no, this would probably take several minutes (perhaps 10), and would have ultimately depricated the shrek 3 cinematic experience

she merely looked at the book

she saw it, perhaps in the childrens section of a barnes & noble, registered it in her mind as being in existance, and filed it away for later as the subject for a post on BOOKS YOUVE READ. only she just looked at it. and it was shrek 3

in a way its the saddest post ive ever read

I hope they don't start a trend of having "a musical episode every season", by which I mean, one/two episodes which are purely musical and then no songs in the rest of the Season. I love the musical numbers, but putting them all into one "musical episode" isn't necessarily the best thing. Spontaneous singing was always much funnier.

Yeah, but music in episodes can get annoying.

I feel the same about the one with the religious characters questioning the school. I guess we'll just have to live with it.

Yep...and only for a little while.

I hate when they do that.

No new episode next week? Just three old ones, right?

Oh, hooray... another Bart-causes-destruction beginning to another character-comes-to-live-with-family plot. The writing staff sure have some fresh ideas at the moment.

Sounds pretty good, but what's up with Bart destroying Willie's shack a second time? It seems like this would work better if it didn't involve Willie moving in with them also, since they've done that so many times now. We'll see though.
Two eyes, two ears, a chin, a mouth, ten fingers, two nipples, a butt, two kneecaps, a penis. I've just described to you the Loch Ness Monster. And the reward for its capture? All the riches in Scotland. So I have one question: why are you here?

That sounds like an issue of the comics.

Could be okay, but I dunno.
