How old are you, 8?
'Bart has two mommies' is one of strangest titles i've seen.
It will maybe include someone acting mother for Bart, and making Marge jelaous (sp?).
It can't be like the 'Homer not thinking Grampa's his father'-episode

That's what I first thought when I read the title. But reading that Amazon description about the two lesbian mothers almost makes me wish it WAS like that.Originally Posted by HOMR
Still, can't be long until all the pieces of S17 start to come together and the 'mystery' will be solved.
One of the few who still enjoys new episodes of The Simpsons.
Maybe in "Bart Has Two Mommies," Marge gets mad at Homer and becomes a lesbian?
"There's a couple of things they don't teach you in Harvard Business School. One is how to cope with defeat; the other is how to handle a shotgun. I'm going to do both right now."
Where has this myth come from that Season 16 was hugely Marge-centric?
All's Fair In Oven War
She Used To Be My Girl
Sleeping With The Enemy
There's Something About Marrying
Mommie Beerest and Mobile Homer were Homer/Marge episodes and The Father The Son and The Holy Guest Star was pretty much equal parts Bart, Homer and Marge.
However I will say that I would like some plots concentrating more on secondary characters, which were quite lacking in Season 16, as well as more Lisa episodes, which have been quite thin on the ground lately.
Regarding this new episode title, maybe Homer becomes a transexual. You never know.
It probably involves somebody else moving in and treating Bart like a son (pretty much just like that one with Beck from season 11. Forget the name) and thus making Marge jealous (Pretty much just like "She used to be my girl")
But Homer becoming a transexual isn't really that wacky. He's always had abit of a feminine personality like in "The President Wore Pearls".
Maybe Bart gets pissed off with Marge being too strict, so runs away from home to find a better mother... and then actually does, much to Marge's disappointment.

"Even if The Simpsons is better than 95% of everything else on TV, that doesn't automatically make it good."
i will stop watching the Simpsons if Marge goes lipstick lesbo
That might not be a bad episode... Of course, we've had some that are similar to that before. Isn't there already a known Bart/Marge episode this season? (yes) Why not give us some more Flanders, Burns, Apu, Barney, Moe or Skinner episodes? Last season they all had a combined 3 episodes devoted to them.Maybe Bart gets pissed off with Marge being too strict, so runs away from home to find a better mother... and then actually does, much to Marge's disappointment.

Bart Has Two Mommies could be about {false} rumors circulating around Springfield that Homer is gay.
More plot will follow of course, ect. ect.
Oh....you better believe thats a paddlin

Yeah, I'm late. But just to let everyone know, I've just deleted every post regarding that whole Marge tangent, aside from Scorpion McClure's first post and Jammy's. There's nothing wrong with a bit of digression, speculation on episodes, or even season 17 episode rankings and such. But the Thompson/Limit Marge "debates" been done so many times before, and are so unbelievably heavy-handed and off topic that, while I wouldn't care so much in another thread, here they are an unnecessary hindrance to actually looking for new information and speculation.
Nobody's been warned or anything. But because this thread fills up so quickly, I'd rather it just be about season 17 stuff.
Which episode do people who have viewed season 17 prefer out of "The Girl who slept too little" and "Milhouse of Sand and Fog".

It's called "It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad Marge".Originally Posted by Scorpion McClure

Thankyou Channel Surfer, I wasn't intending to start any arguments.
I doubt they'd have Homer becoming a transexual but it could be to do with Homer discovering his feminine side or something like that.

How many episodes are gonna be in season 17? I predict 20 at the max.
There's usually 22, they only showed 21 last year but only because Father Son + Holy Guest was delayed because the pope died. I wouldn't be suprised if there was more than 22 this year because of the 3 additional episodes that aired this september, and they might want to have less holdovers for next year, there's no reason to have less this year.
I'm hoping there will be 25 episodes this year, because there are a lot of holdovers, and showing more this season would mean 3 less hold overs next season.
i like the idea of 25 go back to the roots
Is there an episode this Sunday? If not, when do the new ones come back on, and what is the next episode going to be about?
Heckling a Puppet show.

As of right now, the next new episode to air is the Halloween Special on November 6th.

Bart Has Two Mommies is a strange episode title. Could be similar to Marge Be Not Proud, when Bart turned to Luanne as a mother. Then again, it could be a Marge version of Three Gays Of The Condo. I'm praying for the former!

TheSimpsons.com's Episode Guide has now been updated with the addition of Season 17. It can't be found on the site at the moment but has been created and can be found here:
http://www.thesimpsons.com/episode_guide/1701.htm
They've simply reduced the season numbers on Moleman's blackboard to fit in "17" - a funny note is the fact they've called "The Girl Who Slept Too Little" : "The Girl Who Knew Too Little."
Great, I usually print off the new season episodes so I know the bios and episode names.
And if you go back to the S16 page, they numbers are their former size. But what will they do if the show goes to S21?Originally Posted by simplysimpson

You can now access the Season 17 page on thesimpsons.com through the actual main site - however they're still calling F72215 "The Girl Who Knew Too Little."
