HABFs won't be up for a while, probably not until September or later.
Thanks. Does the database list all the episodes? And, I would expect HABFs to be earlier than September, seeing as we already have the title to one, at least - My Fair Laddy - and the Xmas episode has to be an HABF, and will air in December.

Presumably it does, although all I found searching were some AABFs-FABFs, and some 4Fs. And just because we got the titles off articles and webchats and the like, doesn't mean they'll pop up on the database any sooner.

    Ughhh

I haven't been up on Simpsons news much lately...

Anyways, they all look good, except for the "Homer goes to fat camp" one. If they're going to have such an incredibly similar episode, at LEAST space it out more that a season or two. The Heartbroke Kid was a pretty damn good episode, I'd hate to see the possibility of it getting "destroyed"...

EDIT: Hey, waiwaiwait, there's an episode called "Bonfire of the Manatees"? That was a mission in Hit & Run, wasn't it? Probably no similarity whatsoever, but worth thinking about I guess.

IIRC he's only been writing since S7, but the only bad episodes he's written were Bart To The Future and My Sister, My Sitter.

(As mentioned somewhere in the S16 thread, couldn't "Bonfire" possibly be the Homer goes to fat camp episode?)

Well I liked My Sister My Sitter.
He's yet to write a bad non Scully produced episode. which isn't that many actually.
IIRC which I probably don't there were 2 eps in season 7, 1 in 8 and there's been 2 Jean era episodes.
Actually this'll be his first non-collabrative episode for a while.

I'm looking forward to the Moe becomes a poet episode, as a big fan of Bukowski I'll be eating up the beat references.
I never realised before, but Moe Syzlak is probably the closest thing we have to a Henry Chinaski or William E. Lee on primetime television.

I have high hopes for the Moe episode on the basis that the 2 Moe episodes of the Jean era have been the 2 best episodes of the Jean era.
    Moe Baby Blues A
    Mommie Beerest A-/A
Any chance of John Swartzwelder coming back this season?
Can you stop asking this and just wait patiently ? Only Rog might know and the only infomation he's giving is that he took a break to write his book.

I think most people feel the same way too. I'm sure he will return. And if he doesn't he'll be there for the movie anyway.

As for the Dan Greaney writing credit that excites me. He's my fav writer after S'welder and Vitti. After all he wrote Summer of 4ft 2!

For the June 5 schedule, they should air There's Something About Marrying or any episode that hasn't gotten a second airing yet. Or they could air Treehouse of Horror 15 again because its only other airing was in December on a special night. But they're probably saving it for the day closest to Halloween when they can't air the 16th one.

"There's a couple of things they don't teach you in Harvard Business School. One is how to cope with defeat; the other is how to handle a shotgun. I'm going to do both right now."

Okay, so is the Christmas Trilogy of Error episode actually real? If so, it would probably be good.

And I think anyone who posts new episodes from now on should put a source, so that what they say can actually be confirmed.

I'm looking forward to the Willie episode. I've been waiting for a full Willie ep for a long time. I'm also hoping for a good flashback and maybe a Maggie episode. Maggie eps have a VERY VERY good track record (Except possibly Hello Gutter, Hello Fadder)

Including the XV rerun, a THOH episode has been rerun outside of October-November six times according to SNPP, so they could air it during the summer, but it's not that likely.

and it'll be intresting to see if jafar, jimbo and tibor will have grounds to sue over the christmas script, maybe Rog could represent them.

EDIT I'll post these anyway for the benefit of those that don't know
    http://www.geocities.com/rabidweinerdog/wholething.rtf christmas script
    http://www.geocities.com/rabidweinerdog/kr222.rtf Tibor and Jafar's script
    http://www.nohomers.net/showthread.p...threadid=33959 Jimbo's THOH segment

all very good by the way, amazing for fanfiction, and you know there actually scripts and not episode ideas.

So there now you can all have Silverlimit licking your ass constantly begging you to write more often.

I wasn't around at the time, but the three worked together on a Christmas-themed script, and I can only assume it was a tripartite.
