I'd give it a 3. Would have been a 4, but the ending was kind of a letdown.

It has some good things, but overall... closer to bad than to good. I'd say... 2.5/5 (2/5 in the poll).
Lisa's wedding was a jillion times better.

What, you didn't laugh at how unbelievably horrible this episode was? Because I sure did.

...you think it's funny because it was so bad? That's kind of stupid.

This is one of the worst ever. The only good part was Bart trying to sing without breaking the copyright laws. F

Worse than Lisa's Wedding but not by too much. A very bland and uninteresting plot, and Homer's subplot didn't add anything (coupled with the fact that he was a complete jerkass through it). A few good jokes here and there, and the wraparound stuff wasn't too bad except that bugs eating the hand thing, but a lot of it is so forgettable I can barely remember a thing. Grade: C-, 2/5

    A tribute to Bart Simpson

You think THAT's bad? What about that time when I was turned into a Tetris block?

Very forgettable, but I don't think it's quite as bad as most people say. Most of the gags were fairly blah, and the story wasn't terribly interesting, but there was little here that was actually horrible (like the over-wacky Safari gags, or gushing blood, or troll jockeys, etc). Very "blah", but not much was terrible. C- sounds about right.

Probably 1.5/5 . The "legalize" joke makes me sick every time I see it. It makes me see Bart in a different way.

Well that all depends on your point of view.
The legalise it joke is probably one of the biggest belly laughs I ever got from the series because it really came out of nowhere. I also really enjoy Weekend At Burnsies. I loved what they did with Barts character generally in Bart To The Future, Bart being a child of cool has grown logically into a slacker, a guitar playin stoned surfer dude who can mooch his way out of anything and I for one enjoy seeing his adventures. The odd sitcom coupling with Ralph was really cheesey and excellent. My only major gripe with this episode (as with much of this era of the Simpsons) is that some of the jokes seem forced and badly written. However its still one of my favorites from season 11. Futuredrama and Lisa's Wedding are better though.
