Bare in mind, there's really not a bracket you can put the Simpsons into.
Most TV stations would rank The Simpsons pretty much as you have, Channel 4 puts them in the 16-34 bracket. But, still don't take this too seriously, in truth, the show pretty much spans the entire range of ages.

I know 6 year olds who love the show, and equally, 60+ year olds who get just as much enjoyment from watching.

    I'd say...17-30

people in my age (14) think it's childish to watch cartoons and people over thirty also thinks it's childish.

Reading this post is an offer you can't refuse.

i'd say 10-50. since some of the original fans must be pushing the half century mark pretty soon

I'm an original fan and I've got about 28 years to the half century mark.

Age 10 - 30/40 generally, but realistically all ages.

Definitely. My Grandfather, Father, and my son all love the show. My son has been watching for as long as I can remember. At first it was just 'cute' the way he went around the house yelling, "D'oh!" but now he really enjoys watching the show. Although he is far too young to get a lot of the jokes, he still laughs at appropriate times and has favorite characters. He'll randomly quote the show, and it even takes me a few seconds to figure out which episode he's referring to. The other day he kept saying, "Whoopsy-doodles....aw, man!" It took me awhile to realize he was quoting young Ned/Ned's Father, haha.

The beauty of the show is that there are situations, characters, and humor for all ages to relate to and appreciate.

Age 10 - 35. It was originally an all around family show but I honestly think theres more mature content nowadays.

They said in the commentaries their viewers tend to drop off around 50 which is one reason they feel compelled to make fun of old people on the show.

All ages up to about 60 I think. Thats the great thing about the show it appeals to all ages. But then again lots of old people have probably been locked away in retirement homes with only terrestrial viewing. Poor people..... viewing Season 11 and 12 on C4.

My guess is that the show has fans at every age, but most of them are under 35. I think the show is fairly popular with kids, teens and young adults, but does not have many fans in the older generations.

It used to be 8-100. But now they're making it so much like something out of Family Guy, it's more like 11/12--45. I prefer to say 10-12 since everyone I know in that age group actually believes the new episodes are 10X better than the season 4,5,6, etc. episodes so although they're probably going to live an immature and girl/boyfriendless life because of that, the Simpsons does appeal to them.
    Top 2 jokes:

2.Somebody had to take the babysitter home. Then I noticed she was sitting on-her-sweet-can. So I grabbed-her-sweet can. Oh, just thinking about-her-can. I just wish I had-her-sweet-sweet-s-s-sweet can!

    1. Homer-Hey you $#@*, you cut me off. $#*@ to you!
    Lisa- Dad, that's an ambulance
Homer-Right, honey. Hey ambulance! You think you're so big with your $@#^ *%$# siren. And your letters are on backwards!

    Top 3 THOH Qoutes:

    3. Selma as Homer runs naked across kitchen-There goes the last lingering thread of my heterosexuality.
    2. Delirious Mr. Burns-I was walking through the gas one day!
    1. Flanders-Hey, Homer, mind if I chew your ear
    (Homer shoots Flanders)
Bart-Dad, you killed the zombie Flanders
    Homer-He was a zombie?
