Marvin Monroe is voiced by Harry Shearer.
I can't not mention that this is my 3000th post! *Woohoo!*![]()
I think he dident like doing marvin monroe beacause the voice hurt his throught and thats why they got rid of monroe. the only thing i was confused by was marvin monroe memorial hospital in who shot mr. burns part 2 and them saying he died in 138th episode spectacular and seeing his grave in mother simpson but then him appearing in diatribe of a mad house wife confused me.

when the simpsons go to japan, woody allen does a commericial for japanese crackers and says "what did I do to deserve this......... oh yeah"
well what did he do?
He left his wife, Mia Farrow, for their adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn.
I have a question when will al jean be done as showrunner? He's already executive produced 5 seasons in this run thats more than anyone else has.

This is correct. I've heard from many sources that Harry stopped doing the voice 'cause it hurt his larynx (part of the throat)I think he dident like doing marvin monroe beacause the voice hurt his throught and thats why they got rid of monroe.

This one is likely gonna be a noggin scratcher for anyone who can answer. Here goes, in the episode where Homer joins the navy and is accused of being a communist, there is a scene where we see a U.N. metting an the Russian representative flips a sign and it says Soviet Union. Now my question is what is that choral/gregorian chant type music that is playing in the background when we see Russian tanks and troops appearing everywhere. Help me please, i dont know where else to go
Help me before my head explodes with frustration!

All we know is he enjoys running the show, which is why he's done it for so long. As for the future, it's unclear whether he'll just keep going or stand down. We'll just have to wait and see.Originally Posted by wiggle_puppy

If I'm not mistaken, I believe its the Soviet Anthem....
Upon further listening, probably not....

What is the name of the song/music playing in Seperate Vocations during the montage of Bart and Skinner searching the Lockers for the books? It's also in Eight Misbehavin' when Homer & Apu went to rescue his kids.
This thread probably has the most traffic, so I'm gonna ask here.
Where is a good website to take pictures from my computer so that I can put them on the internet. For this site, I can only take pics from the internet. I know there was a recent thread that had a site for this, but I can't seem to find it.
I know it is the wrong thread, but this has the most traffic, and my ploy worked. Thank you so much!!!

To be honest, they never said Monroe "died" in the 138'th episode. Just that he was never popular. As for Mother Simpson... Moleman and Homer both had gaves and we know they aren't dead.
In Who Shot Mr. Burns, he's taken to Marvin Monroe Memorial Hospital. By definition, it meant he was dead. It's simply a continuity error, only pretty much a deliberate one.

I don't get much of the U.S related jokes, but what's with them talking about FOX?

Which episode was it that The Pimple faced Teenager first appeared in?

He means Homer is a nice buddy but not a perfect man. Something like "He's a good friend but, from time to time, he can destroy the whole town. You know, those things happen." :laugh:Originally Posted by That Jerk

That explaination works, Garp. Thanks. I had no idea what kind of context Carl was trying to put it into. I thought it had something to do with the ice-cream cake...
