    Lisa: I saw it, Bart.
Bart: You're just mad because there's no clock in your hat.
    Lisa: What hat?
Bart: Oh, this baby's wasted on an idiot like you.

I never got the point of it, is it that Bart thought the hat was supposed to be a prank hat?
It's wasted bcause Lisa is too "stupid' to appreciate Bart's Chili hat.

    Also, in The Springfield Files:

Smithers: Stop! Its not an alien! Its Mr. Burns!
Willie: Ohh, it's Mr. Burns..... kill it!!

Does Willie not believe that its Mr. Burns? Or does he still want to kill it because it IS Mr. Burns?
Willie is still bloodthirsty and hates Mr Burns.

In the episode "Homer Alone" Marge watches a video at Ranch Relaxo from Troy McClure. At the end of a video he says "And as I said to Delores Montenegro in the movie Calling All Quakers, have it your way baby." Anyone have any idea if DM was a real person or actress? Was "Calling all Quakers" even a real movie? I have done research about these things with no results. I figured it was some inside joke to the writers or it was totally just made up for Troy McClures character. Any insight would be helpful, thanks!

In "Homer Vs. The 18th Amendment", Homer makes reference to "That freezer lady in Georgia" being the worst mother ever. Does anybody know who "That Freezer Lady" was?

In The Simpsons season 2 episode - Homer vs Lisa & the 8th Commandment, why does Homer say "I want free cable" when Flanders says it's $50 ?

I guess because it's a one-off thing. He may have to pay $50 to get it installed but after that, it's free, which wouldn't happen if he bought it properly

Also, does anyone know the episode where they have a black and white image with a vacuum cleaner with a caption saying something like "currently filming a movie in spain" or something? It's been bugging me.

In The Simpsons season 2 episode - Itchy & Scratchy & Marge, how come Krusty can read Marge's letter(obviously knowing what it said because of him showing his disgust and throwing it away) when in the season 1 episode - Krusty Gets Busted, we find out he can't read?

    Black Widower

Also, about Krusty's reading ability, I doubt there's a reason for the inconsistency. Probably just a continuity thing that they sometimes decide to bring up, and sometimes ignore.

While I'm pretty sure Krusty's inability to read has been totally dropped for at least a decade, the example you give is actually one that supports it. The joke is Krusty can't actually read Marge's note, which is why he holds it at such awkward positions(upside down even) with a frustrated/bewildered look on his face before finally just tossing it aside.

    That makes sense actually! Cheers

I believe it's the opening act, and Bart and Lisa go on a 'scary' ride in a run-down amusement park. After several less-than-impressive scares, they come off looking particularly irked at the ride's owner, who realises the dodginess of his ride and apologises. This one is completely dodging my attempts to remember or hunt down which ep it's from. Ring any bells for anybody?

You guys know that production code stuff? (Since I have season 10 here, I will use it as a reference)

For example, season 10 episode 1, "Lard of the Dance" is classified as 5F20, and "Wizard of Evergreen Terrace" and "Bart the Mother" are 5F21 and 5F22 respectively. Now the rest of the season is AABF. Does this mean they were set to air as season nine, but were held over to ten?

A woman in the Republic of Georgia stashed her newborn triplets in a freezer, found only when her 18 and 24 year old children went looking for a snack.

This is nit picky but why is it that in the Season 3 episode 'Burns verkaufen der Kraftwerk', a few seconds after a botox ridden and extremely happy looking Lenny says "This is the worst day of my life" but then in the next scene he is back to normal. I mean obviously for the following episodes he should have turned back to his usual self but I don't see why they couldn't have kept him in that state just for the remainder of that great episode, it may have even added to it.

Was there an episode in which Homer had a dream about a dessert, he squeezed the dessert until it died and another dessert said "he was my best friend!" (referring to the dessert Homer hugged to death). Or did I imagine this?

You might be thinking of when Homer squeezed Twinkie the Kid to death in Season 16's "All's Fair in Oven War."

Just checked the clip and it is pretty similar.

When Bart is exposed as a shoplifter in" Marge,Be Not Proud",the watching crowd is shocked and Homer says something very quietly-what does he say?

  26. #7946

He says "My son's a thief."

What does it mean when Jacques tells Marge the joke how to do a 7-10 split, first you have to yell the 8 pins a cop?

  28. #7948

SNPP has the same question (http://www.snpp.com/episodes/7G11.html). Nobody's been able to figure it out since 1994, it seems.

Nah, I've got it - it's a bit awkward though, since the 8th pin is already gone. The remaining pins would "split" (run away), implying they're criminals, since pin 8 has been exposed as an officer. So when he asks how to make a 5-7-10 split, all you'd have to do is say the 8th pin is a cop.
