In Homer loves Flanders, what is the deal with the song he hears on the radio? the song is a weird sound and then its supposed to be from an album called "I'm worried NEED MONEY".

I think the song 'I'm Worried, Need Money' is meant to be a parody of 'Don't Worry, Be Happy' by Bobby McFerrin. The random sounds are a parody of McFerrin's a cappella style.

In one episode, Troy Mcclure pronounces Matt Groening as Matt GRAY-ning. Isn't the proper pronunciation Groan-ning?

Years ago, when Simpsons Illustrated first came out, there was an issue where Mr. Groening joked about people mispronouncing his name. At one point, I believe it was Troy McClure who remarked "...it rhymes with complaining." I took this to be an additional joke in that if you mispronounce his name you get the very definition of complaining (Groaning) but if pronounced correctly, it really does rhyme with complaining.

In addition, there was a mention of a teacher in one of the Life in Hell strips who addresses Matt and calls him something along the lines of, "...Mr. Gray-nik."

It probably exists in other shows, but it's definitely used in The Simpsons-- "Homer the Vigilante," for example.

Ok, here's one...

in The Mysterious Voyage of Homer, on the way home from the Chili cook off, Bart and Lisa have this convo:

Bart: Hey Lis, check it out, its time for Chili. *points to hat*
Lisa: I saw it, Bart.
Bart: You're just mad because there's no clock in your hat.
Lisa: What hat?
Bart: Oh, this baby's wasted on an idiot like you.

I never got the point of it, is it that Bart thought the hat was supposed to be a prank hat?

Also, in The Springfield Files:

Smithers: Stop! Its not an alien! Its Mr. Burns!
Willie: Ohh, it's Mr. Burns..... kill it!!

Does Willie not believe that its Mr. Burns? Or does he still want to kill it because it IS Mr. Burns?
